Öldur is the first and only Meadery in Iceland. We have a good variety of both classic and light meads. Depending on what we have on hand you will get to taste at least three different type of meads. We focus on quality and try to use Icelandic ingredients as often as possible. We recently moved our Meadery from Reykjavík to Hella, so this activity was shut down for a while, but now we are back at a new and better location!

"Þórsmörk has a spot in each Icelanders heart. There's just nothing like it..." Þórsmörk is an incredibly beautiful nature reserve, situated in the heart of South Iceland nestled among the glaciers Eyjafjallajökull, Mýrdalsjökull and Tindfjallajökull.  On our hike we take in the astonishing view over Þórsmörk, Mýrdalsjökull glacier and the highlands. We will also hike up to Gígjökull glacier where we observe the effects of the 2010 Eyjafjallajökull eruption and breath in the purifying glacial air. Þórsmörk is a spectacular place to visit, it has it's own kind of feel to it. It is Icelandic nature to the core.

Þórsmörk valley is an incredibly beautiful Mountain ridge in the heart of South Iceland, located between three glaciers; Eyjafjallajökull, Mýrdalsjökull and Tindfjallajökull.  To reach this secluded valley our guide operates a fully equipped 4x4 Super Jeep to get us through the rough highland roads and across various gushing glacial rivers. we will pick you up at the hotel on nice car. from Reykjavík we will start the drive towards Thingvellir National Park there you can learn about the tectonic plaits. from here we will drive to the >Geysir and see it erupt then we will continue to Gullfoss waterfall now most people want to sit down at friðheimar and get tomato soup and nice bred. from there we go to faxi waterfall and kerið before we get back to Reykjavik. when you book let us know if you want us to reserve a table for you at Friðheimar ;)
