Before being known for its LGBT bars, after the expulsion of Jews by Charles VI and their return after the Revolution, the neighborhood gardens were the private gardens of the many mansions. They are still very little known but frankly deserve to be discovered and not only because they are havens of peace away from the hustle and bustle of some of the streets of the neighborhood.
