What To Expect

Akagera National Park

After having your breakfast, you will be picked up by a driver guide at about 5 am from your hotel in Kigali and you will transfer to Akagera National Park, which is about 2.5 hours away from Kigali. Akagera national park is majorly a Savannah Park with Elephants, Zebras, Giraffes, Buffaloes, Waterbucks, Topi’s and recently introduced Lions. We shall take a game drive in search of these wildlife and numerous bird species. The game drive can last about 5 hours depending on the animal sightings and interest. Enjoy a picnic lunch before your last game drive on your way out of the park arriving in Kigali later that evening.

Fantastic experience in Uganda. Our guide, Emma, was very knowledgeable and attentive. He ensured that we maximized our time properly and that we saw as many animals as possible! The car, lodges, food, and the whole Uganda experience was well thought-through. I really recommend! Gorilla trekking was incredible, we literally walked 15 minutes from lodges, and saw the whole family, and the same with the chimps. If I was to ever come back, I would not change a thing.
