For customers with a Japan Rail Pass traveling from Kyoto or Shin-Osaka to Hiroshima Station, please be sure to board a Shinkansen departing early enough for you to reach the meeting location (Hotel Granvia Hiroshima lobby) and arrive by the meeting time. Customers who do not arrive by the meeting time cannot join the tour

Parental permission in writing is necessary for all tour participants under the age of eighteen. Any participant under the age of fifteen or not yet enrolled in middle school must be joined by a parent or guardian on the tour.

What To Expect
Itsukushima Shrine
A World Heritage site. Established in the 6th century, this shrine is one of Japan's finest, and is famous for its beautiful Shinden-zukuri style structure (architecture representative of a nobles' residence in the Heian period). The contrast of the green of Mt. Misen behind the lacquered shrine pavilion and the blue of the Seto Sea is beautiful and evocative of the underwater palace of Ryugujo.
Miyajima
Time for lunch is allotted on Miyajima. This region is known for oysters, Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, and conger eel rice bowl, which are available at many shops on Miyajima. Customers are free to enjoy their preferred meals. *Lunch is not included in the tour booking charge.

5.00Very enjoyable experience on Miyajima island Guide Mikasa was very knowledgeable and being resident of Hiroshima she had lots of emotions about the temples on the island. Walk at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial was Heart breaking and the stories told by Mikasa will be remembered for ever

5.00Masada was an exceptional guide for Hiroshima. You could feel her authenticity of knowledge regarding Hiroshima and the A Bomb, it gave this tour an even more heartfelt touch of what it was like in those harsh days of the A bomb and a true sense of what the citizens felt
