Itsukushima Shrine
A World Heritage site. Established in the 6th century, this shrine is one of Japan's finest, and is famous for its beautiful Shinden-zukuri style structure (architecture representative of a nobles' residence in the Heian period). The contrast of the green of Mt. Misen behind the lacquered shrine pavilion and the blue of the Seto Sea is beautiful and evocative of the underwater palace of Ryugujo.

Great guide (Nob) and driver (Mak). Informative, efficient, organized! Highly recommend this tour. Muyijima Island was charming and interesting (even in the pouring rain). Hiroshima peace park and museum were horrifying but so important to see. Great day trip from Kyoto!

It was very good and organised. To my liking a bit too lengthy at times, but overall a very good and organised experience.

My wife and I enjoyed the tour very much. The host was the son of a Hiroshima survivor so it made the trip very personal and he shared some touching stories. I would only recommend that they give the guests more time to tour the museum, it felt a little rushed.
