What To Expect
Black Dragon Pond Park
Get picked up at your hotel in Lijiang Old Town， Head to the Black Dragon Pond Park， one of the most iconic views in China of the impressive Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the background of a beautiful traditional Chinese garden. Stop by the Dongba Museum right next door， a little gem where you can learn about the Naxi minority and the Shamanic Dongba culture and the unique matriarchic Naxi sub branch of the Mosuo Minority living around Lugu Lake.
Dongba Cultural Museum
Later， we stop by Dongba Cultural Museum， exploring the unique culture of the Naxi people， focusing on their Dongba traditions. It features ancient Dongba scriptures， ritual items， folk art， and traditional clothing， offering a glimpse into the history and spiritual practices of this ethnic group.

5.00Yunnan Tour I engaged Wonders Of Yunnan Travel ( WOY ) tour company around December 2025 for our 2 weeks tour package for 4 persons in Yunnan, itinerary starting from Kunming, Dali, Shangri La, Lijiang and back to Kunming, during the spring season March 2026. The tour consultant Ms Nami came on board to plan and arrange our tour request and requirements. Ms Nami patiently and diligently designed senior friendly itinerary and comfortable road and high speed train rides for us seniors. The four English speaking tour guides assigned to us were very helpful and caring, making our sightseeing experience enjoyable and pleasant. Also grateful to our assigned driver, giving us safe and pleasant rides, from Dali to Shangri La and Lijiang, keeping us company for 9 days, very helpful and taking good care of us during the whole journey. Like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to Ms Nami and the entire team of WOY for such wonderful and memorable tours. 5.00It has been almost a month since we came back from our trip to Yunnan. I was dealing with the travel consultant, Vasil Khakimov, who has been very attentive to each of our request. I provided all my wishlists including tour to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain to be completed in 1 day. He made it possible! I must say we are fully satisfied with the service rendered by the agency & our tour guide, Ms Ally (plus the driver of course) have made our tour a smooth one, up to the last check point where we were dropped at the train station. We would like to thank you for the wonderful experience in Lijiang. People have been asking me for the tour service that I used.. And without any hesitation we fully recommend WOY!
