A can't-miss destination on Tanzania's star-studded Northern Safari Circuit, the Ngorongoro Crater offers a classic Big 5 safari experience in the unique setting of an ancient volcanic caldera. Home to some 30 000 animals, the crater's surprisingly diverse habitats are revealed on an Ngorongoro safari on all-day guided game drives; the scenery is spectacular, predators are abundant and it's not unusual to see the Big 5 in a single day.

What To Expect

Moshi / Arusha – Ngorongoro National Park Ngorongoro National Park 07:30hrs_____ Depart Moshi or Arusha by Safari Jeep to Ngorongoro. The distance from Moshi is 210kms whlie from Arusha is 130kms. 10:00hrs_____ Arrive at the park and proceed on a Game drive. Animals expected to be seen include: Elephants, Dik Dik, Leopards, zebra, giraffe, ostritch and different kind of birds. 13:00hrs_____ At lunch time you will stop at a nice picnic site and enjoy an amazing lunch. Thereafter, you will proceed on a game drive. 16:00hrs_____ You will depart the Ngorongoro and proceed to Arusha town. 18:00hrs_____ You will arrive at Arusha town thereafter, transfer to your hotel/residence.

As we departed Moshi, ee had an early hotel pick and two layers transfers. It was all hassle free. The breakfast and lunch we were given during the Safari are both worth to money. Safari driver was very professional and kind. The hotel selection they had for us at the end of Safari was good. Thanks to Kitano tour for all

I booked at the last minute not expecting to go . Emmanuel did everything he could to squeeze me into a tour ongoing including setting up the transfer to Arusha from moshi where I was staying after I hiked Kilimanjaro. This was a great short tour with plenty of time to observe and watch animals. The guide Peter was very knowledgeable. I’ll absolutely return and take an extended tour with family in the future through this company.

It was a long day, but well worth it. I was put in a LandCruiser with other people that had done the longer trip options, talking with them makes me want to come back to do the longer trips, The Crater was very impressive, so many animals that it almost seemed staged, we saw everything the park has to offer except Leopards.. apparently they're the hardest to spot (Pun intended), A Lion even laid down against the LandCruiser.

very helpfull to organize my day trip to Tarangire National park, they respond quickly to my message ( that's not the case for most other agency) they took care of every details from airport pickup to the end. even when i choose to be in a group safari , they adapted to every request that i made i highly recommand to organize the safari with this agency.
