I am a solo female traveler. I did a week safari in Kenya but wanted to see South Africa first. I am not a professional photographer....I just really like taking pictures. So, I found this 1 day private photo safari with Bernhard and Hennie. It was AMAZING. My week in Kenya was amazing but this 1 day in Kruger with Bernhard and Hennie was the highlight of my trip. They picked me up fromy lodge. I felt 100% safe with them as a solo female traveler. I got some great pictures. The fact they that helped me..an amerature photograher that only knows what I've learned on YouTube...with a used z6ii camera and a 28-400mm lens get these pictures is amazing. My goal was to have at least one pick with hanging up at the end of this trip and I accomplished that. First thing we saw when enter the park was lions mateing...when saw them coming in the back and when we left. I also saw 2 leopards! One of which was walking in an open area and I got a shot of the leopard jumping over a little stream! I GOT THE SHOT! I even got a perfect sunset shot with Bernahrd's help. It was just an amazing...amazing...perfect day. Bernhard and Hennie definately my first time in Africa and my first safari experience special.

This trip was booked back in August and like every other tourist I read reviews and glanced through photos of each safari guide and tried to pick the best. At the time I wasent sure what to expect, hennie picked us up at the airport, took us on a mini safari because our room wasent available, he put us on animals almost from the start…He then drove us back to our room and discovered our Ac didn’t work, he stayed with us for 2 hours & negotiated with management until we were moved to another unit! Absolutely above and beyond anything he was hired to do, he made sure we were settled in and ac worked. He picked us up the following morning and put us on the largest leopard he said in his 30 years, by the time the second day if felt like we were on safari with a lifelong friend, the knowledge and passion & stewardship of sharing his country is something you rarely see, most do this as a job and go through the paces but this is what sets this company apart. Bernard joined us on safari and is a camera professional & a lifelong safari expert, each are trained guides and knowledgeable beyond the scope of a ranger. He will pull over and explain a frog or bird or any track you might see, it’s completely private and very much one on one, this is something you can’t put a price on, for me coming from the states and really wanting to gain an understanding of safari and wanting to see the animals you have dreamed of I would wholeheartedly tell you to book with them before it books up. The tips and tricks you will gain from this experience will go with you for a lifetime. When I return I will have them as my guide 100 percent, we were very lucky to find them & would insist to anyone asking to book them without hesitation. The only bad part is eventually you vacation ends! From the bottom of my heart thank you for your help and for sharing with us your country. Your American brothers Steve and Michael.

On an all too short trip through Kruger I booked a one-day photo safari with B1, and what an incredible experience – it far exceeded all my expectations !. Bernhard and Hennie are wonderful guides with super local knowledge, great photographers and just lovely guys to travel with and learn from. They anticipated where wildlife would be and positioned the vehicle perfectly for great shots. I can’t recommend Bernhard and Hennie highly enough, and I will be back again, but next time for a five day safari with B1!

We booked a photographic safari for three of us with Bernard and Hennie last month and had a fabulous day. They were both knowledgeable and their hospitality made the day pass far too quickly. Although we were prepared to see what we found, which doesn't necessarily mean everything as it is a big place for the animals to hide, we were lucky enough to see the Big 5 as well as a lot more. Most times there was not another vehicle in sight and they positioned the jeep so we got good shots. When we were travelling looking for animals Bernard was full of information about Kruger itself and the flora and fauna. We stopped to view the most magnificent landscapes and at picnic areas for bathroom and food stops on our trip. We will be back in Kruger again next year and look forward to booking more safaris with B1 for our family and friends while they are staying with us. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for both photo safaris and regular safaris; great value for money, professional, packed and informative if you are looking for the full package.

Amazing hospitality and local knowledge from Bernhard & Hennie :-) we completed 2 day trip photo safaris and both did ALL they could to make sure we had the most amazing experience in Kruger. We travel a lot as a family and this is our favourite family holiday by far and one we will never forget. Bernhard was incredibly patient in teaching us how to use our cameras properly and we were rewarded with some amazing photos that we will treasure forever - we have shared some of these to show a little of our experience - we can testify that the RAW image quality far exceeds the quality you see on the website....

A special thanks to the both of you! We had a great time driving through Kruger, searching for “the shot”. Bernhard explained the camera and gave tips on how to take a perfect picture (e.g. lightening, shutter speed, ankle). The cars were very comfortable and well equipped so taking pictures was easy. We would definitely recommend and join them again once we‘re back in SA ! Claudia and Janna

On my vacation to Kruger National Park, I went to 3 different safari trips, but going with Bernhard, I easily had the best pictures. Since they're also very experienced photographers, they predicted exactly the movement of the animals and the absolute best positioning of the safari vehicle so we can get the best angle for a photo. Thank you, Bernhard and Hennie.

This was a bucket list adventure for me. If you love the bush and a passion for photography then this is a must do. Bernhard and Hennie were truly amazing both in finding amazing sightings as well as having enormous amounts of patients with me and my photography. Bernhard thought me so much as well as fixed settings on my camera that really helped to take sharp photos. I can't recommend them enough. This is a trip I hope to repeat in the near future. A true 5/5 adventure
