What To Expect
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
It is a famous tourism destination in Hunan province which was officially recognized as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1992. The pillar-like formation seen through the park are the result of many years of erosion. With over 90% forest coverage, the scenic area comprises Yuanjiajie, Yangjiajie, Jinbian Stream and Wulongzhai. The minority culture and folklores are represented in nearby villages and towns, inhabited by Tujia, Bai, Miao and Hui people, making worthwhile side trips.
BaiLong Elevator
It is the highest and fastest sightseeing elevator in the world and provides a spectacular view of the sandstone peak forest. It has a height of 326 meters and can carry 3,000 people an hour in the three transparent elevators. It only takes 88 seconds to travel to the top of the mountain.

5.00I had a BLAST with my tour guide, Riley! From the beginning, it didn’t feel like I was with a tour guide.. it felt like I was with a friend. She quickly became my Chinese little sister, and I, her American older sister. We genuinely had such a good time. I learned a lot from her and she even asked me a bunch of questions too! I highly recommend my girl Riley!

5.00One of the best days spent! The tour is beautiful and Amy my tour guide was truly amazing! The tour included everything from the glass bridge to the fastest lift to the best scenery areas in national park and a way down with the cable car in the clouds. Don’t miss it! Even it was full day with lots of shuttle buses and stairs with Amy as my guide I didn’t feel tired she knew how to avoid the crowds and how I will get the best view spots !

The mountains hidden in the clouds, the fresh air, and the peaceful atmosphere made the trip unforgettable. Everything felt magical and inspiring. Definitely one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited.

She was also very accommodating with how much time we wanted to spend at our different stops and even offered to take us to places that were not included on the trip. 5.00Amazing park - very thought through path around. Vicky (Liu In) was amazing in explaining local culture and traditions and even singing a song. She speaks perfect English. Helped us on our request with tea shopping and showed a nice local restaurant.
