What To Expect
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
It is a famous tourism destination in Hunan province which was officially recognized as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1992. The pillar-like formation seen through the park are the result of many years of erosion. With over 90% forest coverage, the scenic area comprises Yuanjiajie, Yangjiajie, Jinbian Stream and Wulongzhai. The minority culture and folklores are represented in nearby villages and towns, inhabited by Tujia, Bai, Miao and Hui people, making worthwhile side trips.
BaiLong Elevator
It is the highest and fastest sightseeing elevator in the world and provides a spectacular view of the sandstone peak forest. It has a height of 326 meters and can carry 3,000 people an hour in the three transparent elevators. It only takes 88 seconds to travel to the top of the mountain.

5.00A thorough and comprehensive tour of Zhangjiajie’s most popular landmarks. Our tour guide Max was absolutely phenomenal, he was both enthusiastic and knowledgeable on all the sites sharing fun facts along the way. This was a 10/10 experience that I would recommend to anyone visiting!

5.00I loved it. Espeacially because og Max! He made it so nice and fun and comfy. He did everything he could to make me have a nice day. I was travelling alone, but he made me feel I was with my best friend (him). Enjoyed being with him. He is great!

5.00My friend and I wanted to visit many attractions in Zhangjiajie. It is perfect possible doing everything by ourselves, but we would have spend 2 days instead of one. It is a little bit pricey, but considering it includes park tickets, private driver and private guide for 2 persons, it was ok. Everything went fine and our guide, Emilia 七七 was awesome, very efficient

5.00My husband and I spent a day in zhangjiajie national forest park with Hanna who was our private guide. Our day started at 9am where we met our lovely guide at our hotel and had a private car ready for us (we really enjoyed this private aspect of our experience BC we were able to pick and choose what we wanted to do and timing was to our liking). We first visited the glass bridge then went to the zhangjiajie national park to see the Avatar mountains! Hanna was great with helping us communicate with the locals and translating. Her English was very good and she was genuine and very personable - it quickly felt like she was a friend more than a guide :) Hanna told us where the good spots were to take photos and recommended a good place for local Hunan food for lunch. She brought water and snacks for us which was very thoughtful. Andy was the organizer of the tour and he was super helpful with the logistics of the day... It was very easy to communicate with him and he responded to questions quickly. All in all I totally recommend this experience to anyone looking for a fun adventure.

5.00This was absolutely one of the best experiences I’ve had on a tour. Rose was an amazing, enthusiastic, and highly knowledgeable guide! Additionally, her command of the English language was impeccable. The National Park and surrounding area is very tricky to navigate and she was an expert on getting around! Also, the park is very crowded this time of year and she moved us through the park with ease and scheduled each of our stops ideally so we had the best timing for each destination. Such a First Class experience! Massive thanks to Rose!
