What To Expect
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
It is a famous tourism destination in Hunan province which was officially recognized as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1992. The pillar-like formation seen through the park are the result of many years of erosion. With over 90% forest coverage, the scenic area comprises Yuanjiajie, Yangjiajie, Jinbian Stream and Wulongzhai. The minority culture and folklores are represented in nearby villages and towns, inhabited by Tujia, Bai, Miao and Hui people, making worthwhile side trips.
BaiLong Elevator
It is the highest and fastest sightseeing elevator in the world and provides a spectacular view of the sandstone peak forest. It has a height of 326 meters and can carry 3,000 people an hour in the three transparent elevators. It only takes 88 seconds to travel to the top of the mountain.

5.00Amazing, best experience ever! The avatar mountains are absolutely amazing and the park is so big , so many things to see that are hard to visit it all. For that I had Jessie, an amazing Guide!! Jessie is the most wonderful person I have ever encountered, super helpful, super friendly and caring. It was an amazing experience. It was one of my favorite experiences and mostly because of her. She is extremely professional, resourceful and a great company. I didn't have any single issue or concern, she did it all and always with a good smile and lovely chat. I just followed her and she took me into the marvelous of the parking connecting the shuttles, our car, the walks, making everything feel easy and allowing me to really enjoy the view. Really , it was amazing. I'm really happy I did this tour with you. Thank you

5.00We had an amazing experience with Fiona as we toured Zhangjiajie. We had booked a full day tour which included visits to the glass bridge and also the avatar mountains. Fiona was extremely approachable and attentive. She outlined the days’ plan and knew her way through the National Parks. She met us at our hotel in a clean and spacious car, and first took us to the Glass bridge and then to the avatar mountains. We would highly recommend her as a tour guide who is a local and very familiar with Zhangjiajie.

5.00A personal tour guide is very much needed to see the highlights of the massive Zhangjiajie National Park and we’re so glad that Andy was our tour guide! He’s so personable and speaks English very well. We would’ve walked tirelessly and waited in every kiosk without Andy directing and guiding us to better experience the natural wonders of the park. There is a lot of components in seeing the park to consider…bus rides within the park, up and down steps, cable cars, shuttle bus to and from the entrance, etc. Having Andy with us was a huge help. Had we known we could’ve made arrangements to have Andy as our guide for our private tour to Tianmen, we would not have pre-booked with another company. We not only learned about the Zhangjiajie National Park from Andy, but also some of the differences between the Western and Eastern World lifestyles and the Chinese culture. We had very pleasant conversations with him that the 10-hour tour didn’t seem as long as I’ve thought in the beginning. We didn’t feel rushed. It was just perfect and unforgettable!!! Thank you, Andy!!!

5.00Max greeted us right on time and proved to be an excellent guide for Zhangjiajie Mountain, especially on a tricky day with unpredictable weather. The area is massive, with lots of shuttle buses and different routes to take, and Max’s experience really made a difference. He checked the weather forecasts and live camera feeds, then adjusted our route so we could make the most of the conditions. Unfortunately, the weather was very temperamental—we only caught brief glimpses of the stunning scenery before it disappeared into the mist for long stretches. Without Max’s knowledge of the area and his guidance, we probably wouldn’t have seen anything at all.
