Kayak course and introduction
We’ll meet at 09.00 at the office south of Stockholm before driving together to Dalarö, a charming little village, from where we’ll begin paddling with our kayak . On the way it’ll come to your notice, one of those magnificent little wooden red houses, discreetly placed among the pines. We’ll explore different islands by kayak all along the day. Our kayak tour will be granted by a filling meal that we will share on one of the deserted islands. There, we’ll take time to rest, with only companion the swell of the Baltic and the singing birds. In the end of the afternoon, we will paddle towards Dalarö our starting point. We’ll go around other islands and get the opportunity to see other fantastic things from this part of the archipelago that is probably one of the nicest and wildest. It’d be magic to see a sea eagle circling around the islands, looking for the ideal prey. Maybe one of those numerous migratory birds like different types of goose or this famous great cormorant flying over the horizon on the direction to the north. The head full of memories and after have been refilled with pure air, we’ll return to Stockholm to come back to the joy of the civilisation.
Duration: 8 hours: Including the drive from/to the meeting point.

I enjoyed a delightful, relaxing day with Daniel. A short drive through forest and farmland to see rural, coastal living. The kayaks, equipment and launch site was excellent. Daniel was a great guide, going at my slow pace, allowing discussion and answering all my questions along the way, soaking up the headland and island points. Lunch was delicious, cooked on a small island that I learned later was richer in plant life than on first glance. Highly recommend.

This is the best thing I did while visiting Stockholm. It was an amazing experience and our guide, Marcus, was awesome. Really great guy that is highly knowledgeable about the archipelago and the plants and animals there. It is such a beautiful place. Really incredible day. I would highly recommend!

Very well done tour and caring guide. It’s a nice day out, only 30 mins drive from Stockholm, but the day on the water paddling among the islands feels remote. Great tour company too.

I found the guide quite limited in his thinking, as he kept assuming I was a beginner kayaker based on my gender and made several comments about it (I grew up with kayaking and did a recent multi day trip in Norway). However, once we got going it was a good laugh and varied experience, which actually felt quite wild, given it was a one day experience.

Marcus was a brilliant guide. This was the best thing I did while in Stockholm. The day out kayaking was a lovely variety of sun and storm. We stopped by at a couple of islands. Marcus gave us great knowledge on the plant life as we walked around the islands. I was able to sample wild lingon berries, juniper berries, bilberries, chives, spruce sprouts, St. John’s wort, etc. The lunch we had was fantastic, and we all enjoyed a great conversation. By the end of the day, I think the entire group had a brilliant time. 11/10 would tour the area again. Marcus was the best! Next time, I come to Sweden, I’ll be booking a tour with these guys again.

Our experience exceeded our expectations. Our guide Marietta was deeply knowledgeable, an excellent communicator, and a good leader of new kayakers. I recommend this experience to anyone!

Marcus is the man! Couldn't have asked for better weather. The scenery was just gorgeous. Loved having a small group (there were 5 of us plus Marcus). The original group got split up into brand new kayakers and folks that have done it before; much appreciated to do this. Also very fun to try out a kayak with a rudder/pedals before, that was new! My only suggestion is to double-check that the lunch will work for everyone. There was someone in my group that couldn't eat lunch because of a dietary restriction. She said she wrote a note about it, but not sure where that note lived/got passed on to, but maybe checking while we're all in the shop before we hit the road. Otherwise, this was an awesome experience all around. Loved getting out of Stockholm and onto the water.

What a fun way to see the archipelago! The scenes was stunning and the small group nature really enhanced the experience. Our guides Marcus and Jonathan were spectacular!! They were knowledgeable about kayaking and the natural environment we were seeing. I had so much fun chatting with Marcus about all things Sweden, and even science and smartwatches! This was a fun and truly memorable experience!!

Amazing views, accessible to all. We were in a double kayak with my 7-year-old son. Bonus: bathing in the sea, visiting a deserted islet and Swedish fika. I recommend.

Great day with two girls solo and a young man. Beautiful weather, waveless water, “ideal for beginners” according to our guide who was very friendly. After a short briefing, very informative, we began our journey. The archipelagos are beautiful, we stopped on a small desert island to eat a good meal: apple juice, salmon pie or spinach pie (food restriction), a small salad and cherry tomatoes. For dessert a cocoa/coffee/tea with chocolate balls and coconut. 🍽️ 👍 We laughed a lot getting to know each other and the thread of discussions (Watch out for killer mooses and sucba diving!!! 😂😂) I recommend this activity to those who want to combine day discovery nature and a little physical effort. However, remember to take sunscreen, the sun and its reverberation in the water can quickly make you sunburn.
