Black Virgin Mountain
07:00 AM – Begin your journey with a hotel pick-up and drive northeast to Black Lady Mountain (Núi Bà Đen), the highest peak in Southern Vietnam at 986 meters. Cable Car Ride: Soar above lush forests, sparkling waterfalls, and mysterious caves on a modern cable car, taking in sweeping views of the mountain landscape. Temples & Caves: Explore sacred temples, peaceful pagodas, and hidden caves once home to Buddhist monks and nuns. The serene spiritual atmosphere blends beautifully with the natural scenery. Conquering Black Lady Mountain is not just an adventure but also a cultural and spiritual experience, offering breathtaking landscapes and unforgettable memories.
Cao Dai Temple
Next, visit the extraordinary Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh, often described as a “Walt Disney fantasia of the East.” Its exterior dazzles with bright colors, where multi-shaped dragons twist around columns and sacred symbols decorate every corner. Above the main entrance, the striking image of the all-seeing holy eye represents the unity of the Cao Dai faith. Inside, the temple is just as fascinating: statues of Jesus Christ, Buddha, and the Hindu god Brahma stand side by side, reflecting the religion’s unique blend of beliefs. The vibrant mix of colors, elaborate architecture, and spiritual atmosphere create a setting that feels both beautiful and surreal to Western visitors. A highlight not to be missed is the midday service, when hundreds of worshippers in white robes gather in prayer, offering a moving and unforgettable glimpse into the rituals of this remarkable faith.

Everything was exactly as promised: well organized, good timing, comfortable transport, and a well-planned itinerary covering Black Virgin Mountain, the Cao Dai Temple, and the Cu Chi Tunnels. A special shout-out to our guide, Khanh. He was really nice, knowledgeable, and made the whole day feel relaxed and enjoyable. He explained things clearly, kept the group moving smoothly, and was always happy to answer questions. Highly recommended if you want a full, hassle-free day trip from Ho Chi Minh City.

I really enjoyed the tour and our guide Jackie Chan was very knowledgeable and helpful. Ba Den Mountain was stunning ! Wish we could’ve spent more time but quite challenging given the amount of time it takes to get there and ensuring that we make it to Cu Chi tunnels as well. I knocked down a star due to the driver coughing so much throughout the ride. Kind of worried my husband and I, thinking that he might be sick and pass it on to us. Oh beware, traffic coming back is very bad!

The Củ Chi Tunnels is a good place to start if you want to know about a piece of Viet Nam’s history. Also, the black lady mountain experience showcased a religious culmination on top of a mountain with a great view of Viet Nam. I would want to go there next time but at night time. Worth the trip in my opinion.

This tour was amazing!!! The mountain was out of this world. You will feel like you made it to heaven. Our tour guide Jackie Chan aka Khanh was awesome, very imformative with the Vietnamese history, he made us feel welcomed and our driver too, he was very skilful and getting us around quick az. We got to try the tunnels with him, which was scary but got us out of our comfort zones. It was such a great day out. They took us to an amazing restaurant for lunch and food was so healthy and delicious. (We run our own two restaurants in Sydney) so we know the food was fresh. I had to video call my family in Australia and NZ just to share in the experience of going up to Black Lady Mountain because you can’t keep this experience to yourself. It was an amazing day out. The shooting range was scary but thrilling if you want to shoot some real guns (too scary for me) Only thing I would say is don’t bring a bag like I did, just your fully charged phone and take heaps of photos. Loved it. Would highly recommend. Memories for a lifetime.

We took a trip with Viet Fun Travel on January 13th: the Black Lady Mountain (Núi Bà Đen), the Cao Dai Temple and the Cu Chi Tunnels. Out of 10... we give a score of 12 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The minibus arrived exactly on time, which is always very appreciated. From the start, our guide Khan (nicknamed Jackie Chan) greeted us with a big smile, a lot of energy and an infectious passion for the history of his country. We were particularly lucky: we were a small group of only 4 people, accompanied by a very friendly couple from Denmark. This configuration makes the experience much more intimate and enjoyable. 🏔️ Black Lady Mountain (Núi Bà Đen) The Black Lady Mountain is an absolute must-see in southern Vietnam. At nearly 1,000 metres, it is the highest mountain in the region. The site is spiritual, natural and spectacular. The modern cable car offers breathtaking views of the jungle and surrounding plains. Once at the top, the beauty of the place is such that emotions rise, to the point of tears in your eyes. We feel a deep peace, a real fullness, amplified by Buddhist temples, monumental statues and the sacred atmosphere of the site. 🛕 Cao Dai Temple – Tay Ninh The visit to Cao Dai Temple is just as striking. This Vietnamese religion, founded in 1926, blends elements of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and even Christianity. Attending songs and prayers is a mesmerizing experience. The temple is beautifully colorful, symbolic and charged with special energy. We really feel the magic of the place and the deep respect of the faithful. 🕳️ Cu Chi Tunnels Visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels takes us brutally back to the history of the Vietnam War. This vast underground network, used by Vietnamese combatants, allows us to understand the ingenuity, resilience and especially the extremely difficult conditions experienced during the conflict. It was a disturbing, striking and emotional visit. The unhappiness and suffering that prevailed in this region during the hostilities are well understood, as is the incredible determination of the local population. ⭐ In summary We highly recommend this tour with Viet Fun Travel. The organization is impeccable, the sites visited are exceptional and the experience is rich in terms of human, cultural and historical. If you are lucky enough to have Khan as your guide, consider yourself privileged: he was truly exceptional, passionate, funny and extremely competent. We wish you a wonderful tour of Vietnam — this excursion will remain in our memory for a long time.

We left early in the morning from Sigon, it was worth it. FIRST STOP Cu Chi Tunnels: very beautiful and very interesting the story for which they were built, our guide Henry explained everything very well. SECOND STOP Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh: here too very interesting the story that brought to the birth of the Cao Dai religion. The mix of colors, sounds and scents makes this place that belongs to the all-seeing holy eye very mystical and beautiful. THIRD STAGE Black Virgin Mountain: You reach the summit at 986 meters via a cable car from which you have a breathtaking view with a large Buddha at your feet and the Black Lady on top. Experience absolutely to try, going back I would choose this tour again.
