This captivating day tour takes you to must-see spots in Yamagata Prefecture: Yama-dera, also known as Risshaku-ji Temple, and Ginzan Onsen, a nostalgic spa town. Established in the year 860, Yama-dera is a sightseeing spot where visitors can relish the scenery after climbing 1,015 stone steps. Located near the mountain trailhead, you can visit Konpon Chudo, a designated important cultural property. Travel back in time amidst the retro scenery of Ginzan Onsen, a hot spring town where a nostalgic Japanese atmosphere lingers in the air. It has about 500 years of history, discovered by workers at a large silver mine. Taking a stroll will surely be enjoyable.
