This tour will show you both sides of downtown including all historical monuments in the oldest part of town. You'll get to know and comprehend the history of this city from it's foundations until the 20th Century. This tour is aimed at anyone interested in getting to know the culture and history of Lisbon, done with a local Tour Guide, however if you want to keep it lightweight you just have to let me know!

5.00Goncalo was absolutely amazing. He took us everywhere we wanted to go in only 2 hours. He even stopped at Starbucks for us. Picks you up and drops off at your desired location. Beautiful views I saw and he made learning about the history so entertaining,

5.00My friends and I were visiting Lisbon for the weekend and decided to do a TukTuk tour with Gonçalo, and we are so glad we did! He was an amazing tour guide, incredibly knowledgeable while also keeping the whole ride fun and entertaining. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy each stop and take everything in. It ended up being the highlight of our trip, and we saw places we definitely would have missed on our own. If you’re considering this tour, book with him, he’s truly the best!

5.00Get a tour with Goncalo! I rarely give 5 star reviews (stingy me) and this was a curve-buster! Goncalo knows a ton of Lisbon lore and we had a great time chatting about cultures in comparative context. He waited patiently at every stop for us to do the tourist photo thing. He'll take you to the best miradouro in the city (Senhora do Monte), show you the Lisbon Cathedral, and give the scoop on local mural-painters and hangouts like Pink Street. Although his company is called "Castles" and Waves, you'll learn that there is only one castle in Lisbon (makes sense--one ruler at a time) and you'll learn about Lisbon's ancient origins as well as its modern history with the 1755 earthquake up to Portugal's rejection of fascism in 1974. Foreign real estate investment has made affordability in Lisbon almost nonexistent, so please support local tuk tuk drivers. You'll be so glad you "tuk" a tour with Goncalo!

5.00We had an absolutely fantastic experience exploring Lisbon by Tuk Tuk with Gonçalo. From start to finish, he was friendly, energetic, and incredibly knowledgeable. He shared so many interesting stories and insights about the city’s history, culture, and local secrets, all while keeping the tour fun and engaging. Gonçalo made sure we saw both the famous landmarks and some hidden gems we never would’ve found on our own. His passion for Lisbon really shined through and made the tour unforgettable. If you’re visiting Lisbon and want a perfect mix of learning and fun, I can’t recommend a Tuk Tuk tour with Gonçalo enough! 🇬🇧🇦🇺🇳🇱 Sorry can’t add photo! Says file too big 🤷🏻♀️
