  Interesting and informative. Great guide. Highly recommended. Beautiful cemetery. Bring bug spray. We were there the end of April and lots of pesky gnats flying around.

  If you have never thought about a cemetery tour being on your trip itinerary, you should really consider it. We have been to cemeteries in a number of countries and around the US, and Bonaventure is right up there with the best! Highly recommend a golf cart tour your first time. To learn about the exceedingly interesting stories about those who are buried there as well as the wide variety of plots and tombstones and the reason some are just bizarre. But the setting of Bonaventure is absolutely beautiful. If you want to see the Azaleas in bloom, go in Late March or early April. You will not regret it. The tour guides have great stories and interact with you the whole way. The cart is covered and comfy but the paths can be a little rough. But the drivers take great care to give you a smooth ride. We have been multiple times and take family when they come to visit. Now we plan to go and do a self-walking tour because there countless photo ops available. It costs nothing to go and visit this great site!

  The golf cart tour was a great way to take on all the highlights of Bonaventure Cemetery. Our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. I can highly recommend this tour experience.
