What To Expect
We’ll begin our journey with a scenic ride to The Mittens, also known as the West and East Mitten Buttes. Enjoy stunning views and learn about the geological significance of these iconic landmarks. When viewed from the south, the buttes appear to be two gigantic mittens with their thumbs facing inwards.
This butte was named after a well-known 19th-century prospector, Richard Merrick, who was one of the first to explore the area. The butte, standing 5,000 feet above sea level, is often seen in iconic Western films, making it a popular stop on horseback tours. As you ride through the valley, you’ll feel like you’re stepping into a classic Western movie scene, with Merrick Butte standing proudly in the background. Its striking silhouette adds to the rugged beauty of the landscape!

5.00Amazing ride through Monument Valley with our guide Ethan. He was very knowledgeable and took plenty of pictures of us. This is a great way to get into part of the valley that you can’t get to by car.

1.00The bad attitude of the client. They said they would not take us at all. We arrived 3.30pm for 3.30pm due to the line up to pay for $8 entry and not being able to locate the site. They would not offer us anything as an alternative and said it happens all the time. So it’s a con job to get your money!
