Saigon River

A 1 hour boat tour through the heart of Ho Chi Minh City also know as Saigon. During the trip you will cruise on the Saigon River along the central district 1 and district 4 and pass by new high rise towers as well as some of the best preserved buildings of the city.

Guides were very nice and informative, had drinks you could purchase on board as well. The boat was nice and boarding was quick. Not the tours fault, but the river was just really dirty and wasn’t great views of much. Think we ended up taking like maybe 1 picture the entire ride just because it wasn’t very pretty on the river.

The tour was long enough to be worth it and short enough to not be a hostage situation. They speak for about 20 minutes of the tour and then leave you alone :-) The drinks are overpriced but that’s industry standard.

The experience was underwelming. The boat was very simple and crouded. As part of a south east asia vacation, I took similar trips in Bangkok, Luang Pra Bang and Signapore...all much more comfortable and entertaining. Unfortunately, there was not much to see along the route and the river was full of garbage. In conclusion, I would NOT recommend it.
