What To Expect
Saigon River
A 1 hour boat tour through the heart of Ho Chi Minh City also know as Saigon. During the trip you will cruise on the Saigon River along the central district 1 and district 4 and pass by new high rise towers as well as some of the best preserved buildings of the city.
Located at 1 Dong Khoi Street, this luxury hotel was built in 1925 in a classical French Riviera style by a wealthy local businessman.

4.00The boat was small for 20 people, we were all cozy together. You can’t stand or walk around and take full-body pictures. But it was clean and was on time. The guide and the crew were friendly and knowledgeable providing a nice atmosphere. The gude offers to take your pictures if you want. The view of the city is very nice, colorful, bright, but not so visually polluting or overstimulating. We boarded the 6:00 pm boat, right after sunset so we had dusk and night views. I recommend this time. Be advised that you won’t get anything on board, not even water, unless you buy from them. I have no complaints but it’s a bit expensive for a single boat ride.

5.00A different way to explore Ho Chi Minh City. Leisurely way to spend an hour so so. We popped on during the afternoon, but I would imagine the evening would be somewhat better.

5.00Staff were professional. Easy to find at wharf right next to Starbucks. The boat was lovely comfortable and had snacks and drinks for purchase plus a rest room on board. We only had 9 onboard and that seemed a perfect number to not be cramped. Not sure I would have enjoyed 20 passengers. The sun is super hot during the day if you pick the wrong side of the boat. 🙄 Commentary was good… guide knowledgeable. Captain did a good job navigating the hyacinth. Wasn’t expecting a full on tour experience. Lovely way to spend a chill hour seeing Saigon from the water.

5.00Fabulous afternoon cruise on Saigon River with Long as our tour guide. Very relaxing and informative. A better choice than an evening dinner cruise on a big boat. This was much more enjoyable. Easy to access from the wharf. Good clear instructions on WhatsApp of where to meet.

5.00It was easy to let them know at the desk that we had arrived and they pointed out our tour guide. It all went very smoothly and was well organised. It was interesting to learn about the city while sipping on a glass of wine / beer. We didn’t have much time so 1 hour was perfect but we could have enjoyed it for longer
