What To Expect
Saigon River
A 1 hour boat tour through the heart of Ho Chi Minh City also know as Saigon. During the trip you will cruise on the Saigon River along the central district 1 and district 4 and pass by new high rise towers as well as some of the best preserved buildings of the city.
Located at 1 Dong Khoi Street, this luxury hotel was built in 1925 in a classical French Riviera style by a wealthy local businessman.

4.00Nice cruise in comfortable boat. Crew looked after us well and commentary was good. Not an expensive cruise so I would say that it was good value. The only thing to mention was that we did a 3pm cruise and walked to the river from a hotel close by with traffic lights operational to allow us to cross a busy freeway. But trying to cross back at 4:15pm in their peak hour was a nightmare. No traffic/pedestrian lights were on and traffic was bumper to bumper going 40 - 50 KMH, incl may cars and buses. we eventually crossed thanks to 2 massive young blokes crossing with us. this was after 15 days in Vietnam for us crossing reasonably comfortably in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh. It was the only time that I really felt like I could easily be a casualty.

4.00Too many people in the boat, it is very uncomfortable to sit and move, one cannot even take pictures. But it's nice to do anyway, and the guides put it on. I couldn't hear what they were saying, because I was sitting in the back and the sound was bad and low.

5.00Extremely friendly crew, wonderful small group experience that highlights a unique view of Saigon. Get away from the bustle and enjoy the peacefulness of the river. Plenty of alcohol available if desired, and Vietnamese style snacks. For the money, unbeatable.

5.00The one hour cruise down the Saigon river was a lot of fun. It gives you a for one hour viewing of the city from the river running through it. If you are short on time and thinking of something to do, this is a really nice excursion. The people running the excursion are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this to anybody.
