What To Expect
Saigon River
A 1 hour boat tour through the heart of Ho Chi Minh City also know as Saigon. During the trip you will cruise on the Saigon River along the central district 1 and district 4 and pass by new high rise towers as well as some of the best preserved buildings of the city.
Located at 1 Dong Khoi Street, this luxury hotel was built in 1925 in a classical French Riviera style by a wealthy local businessman.

5.00The trip was everything as described, a 1 hour trip seeing the sites of HCMC from the river. The guide pointed out the details of buildings and history along the route. The boat left promptly, and cruised up and down the river. There were drinks to purchase on the boat. We felt it was good value for money.

5.00The staff were wonderful, but in particular the guide. She was very humourous and gave a really good history lesson throughout the cruise. There are drinks and snacks to purchase on board and the boat is very comfortable. Worth noting that there is a top on it which was great for preventing sunburn.

5.00This boat is exactly what I was hoping. Comfortable, Friendly, Small group and great guide. One hour is the right amount of time and the boat itself felt right in that setting. There were a couple of kids on board and they enjoyed it just as much as the adults.

5.00The river cruise was great, just a small boat with about 16 people. Jayson was our host and provided info on the various landmark as we made our way along the river. It a great way to see the skyline and capture some great pictures whilst the bridge and buildings are all lit up. Drinks and snacks are available

5.00If you're visiting Ho Chi Minh City and looking for a memorable evening activity, this one-hour Saigon River tour is an absolute must. From start to finish, the experience exceeded expectations and left us with a whole new appreciation for the city's beauty and history. Check-in was seamless — a friendly staff member from Saigon Boat Company was already waiting for us at the Saigon WaterBus terminal, making the whole boarding process quick and stress-free. Our guide was a real highlight of the tour; enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing the geography and history of Ho Chi Minh City with everyone on board. The boat itself was comfortable, though it's worth noting it can get a little crowded during busy periods. That said, we had no trouble finding a good seat. One of the best features was the convertible roof, which opens up to create an open-air deck — perfect for taking in the surroundings and snapping photos. And the views? Simply mesmerising. Seeing Saigon's glittering city lights reflected across the river at night is an experience that's hard to put into words. It's a completely different perspective of the city that you just can't get from land. Drinks were available to purchase on board, and card payments were accepted — a small but appreciated convenience. Overall, this tour offers outstanding value and is one of the highlights of any trip to Saigon. Highly recommended for first-time visitors and returning travellers alike.
