Saigon River

A 1 hour boat tour through the heart of Ho Chi Minh City also know as Saigon. During the trip you will cruise on the Saigon River along the central district 1 and district 4 and pass by new high rise towers as well as some of the best preserved buildings of the city.

A good value and interesting short cruise around a small but interesting part of the central river in HCMC. The English commentary was provided by a very competent and friendly guide who went to great lengths to ensure that we missed nothing of interest. As frequent visitors to HCMC we had never got round to doing this but in fact it is well worth patronising and gives a different view of some of the iconic buildings without risking the traffic and crowds on land. Nicely done. The boat carries 20 passengers and seems safe and well managed.

The tour started ontime and the guide explained as much as possible. unfortunately the seating in the boat was one long row on each side and we were all sitting with our back to the city. So it was very difficult to get a proper view when seated. Anyhow this boat trip does not have many interesting sights of Saigon.

Everything went smoothly from buying the tickets in advance to getting on the boat. The description of the trip sounded great but you do not really see the things they write. Our guide explained a lot about the areas and history of some places and was open to answer any questions. The trip itself was a bit dissapointing, you mainly see the tall buildings and the river which is semi nice. We enjoyed just being on the water and on a boat but once is enough.

The open roof and windows boat tour was marvelous! It was one of the best boat tour that I have ever took. The tour guide, Mr. Long was very good!

A one off opportunity to see the illuminated Bridge from underneath and the lights of the skyscrapers from a different angle with a guide who was excellent and informative a great experience and very smooth in a comfortable boat

This was a good way to view the City and the guide had good knowledge, pointing out the key landmarks. We were fortunate to see sunset too!
