Located in the heart of the city, Riverside Market is a lively indoor farmers’ market filled with artisan foods, local produce, boutique eateries, and handcrafted goods. Enjoy free time here for lunch and perhaps grab a souvenir or two.

A short scenic drive takes you to the historic port town of Lyttelton, nestled around a beautiful volcanic harbour. Walk along the waterfront, enjoy the artsy atmosphere, or sip a coffee with harbour views—this coastal gem is full of character and charm.

Lake Tekapo

Your first major stop is the stunning Lake Tekapo, known for its vivid turquoise waters and panoramic mountain backdrop. Visit the iconic Church of the Good Shepherd, one of the most photographed sites in New Zealand. Take a walk along the lake’s edge or simply soak in the tranquil views—this is one of the South Island’s most peaceful spots.

Lindis Pass
