Today, after breakfast, you will take a ride on the traditional Bamboo Train, a bamboo platform laid over 2 sets of wheels on a single track. In the old days, this was used to transport goods between Battambang and Phnom Penh and was a typical mode of transport for farmers and villagers. Today, it takes you through the beautiful countryside to a little village you can explore on foot before returning to your starting point.

Wat Banan Temple

After lunch, climb the 365 stairs to marvel at Wat Banan, an Angkor-era temple that sits on top of a hill close to the Sanker River.

Battambang Bat Caves

After approximately an hour, you'll arrive at your hotel in the Cambodian capital, where you'll spend the night.

Today, you will explore the fascinating history and culture of Phnom Penh. You will start your tour by visiting the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek, a sobering reminder of the atrocities committed during the Khmer Rouge regime. You will be taken on a guided tour of the site, where you will learn about the events that took place there and hear stories from survivors.

Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum

You will visit the Toul Sleng Genocide Museum, a former prison that the Khmer Rouge used to detain, torture, and execute prisoners. You will learn about the conditions inside the prison and the brutal treatment of prisoners.

National Museum

You will head to the National Museum to explore Cambodia’s rich history and culture. The museum houses a collection of ancient Khmer art and artifacts, including sculptures, ceramics, and textiles. Royal Palace

It is the official home of Cambodian royals, which is located in the heart of Phnom Penh. This palace was built by King Norodom between 1866 and 1870. The whole palace was surrounded by a wall. There are four main compounds in the Royal Palace complex.

Sihanoukville

Today after the breakfast at about 9:00 am, you will be escorted to head for Sihanoukville. The journey typically takes 4-5 hours. Upon reaching Sihanoukville, proceed directly to the boat pier. There, you'll board a vessel for approximately 1 hour to reach Koh Rong. Upon arrival, the resort team will extend a warm welcome and accompany you to your accommodation. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel on Koh Rong.
