The Golden Circle Classic is our bestselling day tour! See the world famous erupting geyser & hot springs, experience the magnificent Gullfoss Waterfall and follow in the footsteps of the Vikings, as you walk down the lava canyon where the American and Eurasian continents are literally pulling apart in Þingvellir.
You will also see one of Iceland's most iconic natural attraction - Geysir Hot Spring where ground trembles and steaming hot water spouts spectacularly skywarsd from the famous Strokkur Geyser.
Now for a leisurely walk down to Gullfoss Waterfall, which is an awesome sight to behold. Here a powerful glacial river cascades down 32 meters on two levels and into a narrow canyon with a thunderous roar.
The last stop is the volcanic crater Kerið, formed when a large magma chamber collapsed. The piercing blue colour of the water surrounded by the red lava rocks is a breathtaking contrast of nature.
Simply put, if you only do one tour in Iceland, then this should be the one!

What To Expect
Thingvellir National Park
The tour starts with a stop in Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site listing and the birthplace of the oldest existing parliament in the world. This is also where the gigantic tectonic plates of America and Eurasia have pulled apart and the resulting rift valley is right there before your eyes on the shores of Iceland’s biggest lake.
In Efstidalur you will get a unique and different experience. Right in the middle of the Golden Circle, you get a glance of the farm life in Iceland. This family farm has opened up for tourists and offers a variety of products straight from the farm, such as the famous ice cream, skyr and feta cheese. The restaurant also offers beef from the farm and other local food.

5.00My husband and I came on an anniversary trip to Iceland. Every moment we spent was wonderful, I could say that every second was worth it. I would especially like to thank our guide Sergio (Spanish) for making this trip unforgettable and special, his attentions, his enthusiasm and the company that he and the other tourists who accompanied us on this trip were lovely, these days have been magic and absolute adventure. Indeed wonderful trip, many thanks to Sergio, made us this experience very enjoyable. 5.00We hired IceLimo for several trips: to and from airport, golden circle, Northern Lights, South Coast tour, snowmobiling across a glacier to an ice cave... The van was always spotless and super comfortable. They were prepared with raincoats and umbrellas and water. We were taken to the best restaurants and museums. Everything they do is top notch. Our main guy was Jon, who is amazing. Super knowledgable about his country, it's history, geography, etc. Went the extra mile each and every day to make us feel like family. A stop in the morning at a great pastry shop. Another stop to the best coffee in town. Then he actually gifted us fireworks (drove them over on his day off!) so we could participate in the New Year's Eve celebrations. He's funny, he's smart, he's friendly. Could not have asked for better!
