We travelled with Mountain Delights on a Mount Everest Base Camp trek, and the entire experience was excellent. We received outstanding support from Dinesh and Janta, who took great care of us throughout the journey and made sure we always felt safe and well-guided in the challenging terrain. Later, we went on a jungle tour, which was also perfectly planned and executed. Everything ran smoothly, and the logistics were handled flawlessly. A big thank-you goes to Ram, who coordinated the whole trip. His oversight, flexibility, and professional approach allowed us to relax and simply enjoy the adventure. And thanks for lunch the last day. Outstanding service All in all, we can highly recommend Mountain Delights – a truly well-run organisation with skilled and dedicated people.

Mountain delights made our Trekking to Mardi Himal and the city visits in Pokhara and Kathmandu so enjoyable and they made this into a trip we will never forget. Mountain delights made our trip well planned and with guides and porters that did their utter most to make our trip the best. What also feels great is that Mountain delight gives back to society by sponsoring rural villages and making it possible for children with no means to go to school. My warmest recommendation of Ram and Mountain Delights.

I’ve done two amazing treks with Mountain Delights—Annapurna Base Camp in 2022 and Upper Mustang more recently. Both were unforgettable. Our guide, Baburam, was fantastic: incredibly knowledgeable, experienced, and attentive. I always felt safe and well cared for.

Where to begin. Mountain Delights were a delight to deal with. They managed all of our worries and concerns of the expedition and made this experience a trip of a lifetime. The nature of our trip was to hike to Everest Base Camp in aid of charity - The Bluestack Foundation. After spending 3 days in Kathmandu, we were eventually able to fly and begin our trek. We had 3 flights from Kathmandu to Lukla cancelled due to bad weather. After the 3rd flight was cancelled, Kamal and his team went straight to work and got our group replacement helicopter flights. We began our hike on 9th March 2025 which lasted for 11 days. There wasn't much of a crowd on the way up the trail , however I found on the way back down the crowds had grown in size, I believe the influx was the people whose flights had been delayed had now made their way onto the hike to EBC. The weather during the daytime was really sunny with temp between 15 & 18ºc. I used factor 50 suncream, some people used factor 70, the sun gets really hot the higher up you go. During the evening time the temperature dropped significantly, it could be anything from -11 to -23ºc. At 3:30am the morning after reaching Base Camp, four of us from our group hiked up Kala Patthar to catch the sunrise around Everest and surrounding mountains (I highly recommend doing this), the temperature was -23ºc, and although the temperature was cold, hiking up Kala Patthar was the highlight of my journey. Throughout our trek to Everest Base Camp, each and everyone of the Mountain Delight team were on hand to assist us in anyway they could. The porters were very punctual, they had our bags dropped off at each teahouse by the time we got there. Our guides were super friendly, they always chatted and shared laughs with us which I found made the trip much more enjoyable. The Nepalese scenery is spectacular, words and photos cannot portray how breathtaking this country really is. I have never felt more alive taking in the surroundings, especially during the trek to EBC. If you are looking for a challenge, to meet people from all over the world and see mountains that reach up past the clouds, then book with Mountain Delights, you will not be disappointed.

Did the 11 day trek from Lukla to Everest Base Camp in April 2025. Had a fantastic experience. Not least because of excellent guidance from Mingur Sherpa and his team. Mountain Delights CEO Ram Sapkota provided a very well arranged package and logistics which worked flawlessly. Can highly recommend them for the future.

I was part of a group of 12 that hiked to Everest Base Camp with Mountain Delights. Their guides Purna, Shivra, Prim and Sundez were amazing - they were always so generous and willing to help. I was a slow walker and it was never any issue. I felt safe at all times. Their 6 porters were also wonderful and had our gear ready at every destination. I can't recommend Mountain delights highly enough and would have no problem contacting them if I planned another trip to Nepal.
