Departing at 12:00 noon from Galway, you will travel in comfort through one of the most scenic landscapes in Ireland; the lunar-like Burren. Walk, explore and wonder at the ageless beauty of this extraordinary vista and take in the beauty of the Cliffs of Moher, one of the top 10 natural sites in the world.
You will receive free entry to the Cliffs of Moher and have a full 2 hours to enjoy leisurely walks along the coastal pathways & the eco-sensitive Visitor Centre where you can experience the Atlantic Edge, a virtual reality cliff face adventure.
We then make a lunch stop at the quaint fishing village of Doolin for approximately 45-50 minutes. We also visit Ballyreen, where you can walk along the limestone Burren landscape before returning to Galway using the Wild Atlantic Way route alongside the edge of the world-famous Galway Bay, one of the most beautiful coastlines in Ireland, stopping for a photo along the way before arriving to Galway at approximately 18:45.

What To Expect
Cliffs of Moher
The magnificent cliffs of Moher are one of Ireland’s most spectacular sights, and they reach a height of 700 feet. On a clear day, you can see for miles, and some of the sights include the Aran Islands, Galway Bay, and the hills and valleys of Connemara. On the edge of the cliffs, you can hear the waves crashing as they eat into the sandstone and shale. You’ll also get to hear plenty of birds as the Cliffs of Moher are home to lots of different species including puffins, guillemots, gannets, and more. From O’Brien’s Tower, you’ll be able to take in the magnificent views of the face of the cliffs. You’ll also get to spend time in the visitor centre. Included in your Tour is the entrance fees for the Cliffs of Moher.

5.00Lorraine did a phenomenal job of navigating the challenging roads to the Cliffs of Moher and back, with very interesting information and anecdotes. Besides the Cliffs, other interesting spots included the quaint town of Doolin, a rocky shoreline nearby and an overlook of the Burren. Worth every penny.

5.00Our driver, Noel, was very knowledgeable, prompt, and accommodating. The natural sites we visited and the restaurants we stopped at were all fabulous, including a bonus stop along the ocean for some unique rock formations. We got back to Galway 15-minutes early which was nice since the weather had turned during the last hour of our trip. We were able to stop for the toilet as needed and the bus was very clean.

5.00We had an amazing time. Tommy was the best tour guide. When we got to the cliffs the clouds parted and the sun came out and there was a rainbow. Then we went to a fantastic pub in Doolin for a delicious lunch and stopped along the wild Atlantic way. Tommy kept us entertained the whole time and we learned so much.

5.00The Cliffs of Moher are not to be missed. They are spectacular! I was worried about all the steps and steep incline because of a medical condition but they have people who will take you to the top using a golf cart. We had a charming bus tour guide named Tommy and he made sure everything went smoothly. Our late lunch was the best meal I’ve had in my entire time in Ireland.

5.00Dave was an engaging and enthusiastic guide. He was very knowledgeable about the area and had great tips on the best spots for viewing the cliffs of moher. The sun was breaking through on our way back so we made an unscheduled stop on the coast perfect for taking pictures of the Aran Islands and seeing the rock formations of the Burren. Despite this extra stop the tour stayed on schedule. He also brought carrots for the donkeys and launched them out the window so they would come to the fence. Best tour I’ve been on in Ireland. Book direct for lower fare. Child rate through age 17
