This was my first trip to Europe, and even though I was traveling alone, I didn't feel anxious at all. That's all thanks to the local guide. Guides are kind, well experienced and spoke perfect English. Especially Sebastian and I forgot his name but the guy who took care of me for Auschwitz and Zakopane at Krakow were fantastic. Grzegorz, who arranged the tour, was quick and kind, and the hotels he arranged were perfect. If you are traveling to Poland, I highly recommend this company.

The tour was over and above my expectations. We visited many historical sites as well as Catholic Churches. The Churches are amazingly beautiful. The tour guide, Grzegorz Brzostek, is very knowledgeable. He gave thorough explanations of all the places we visited. He was always concerned that we stayed together and when on our own, he established meeting places. He would always take a head count to make sure we were all present. The tour was well planned but still gave time for being on our own to explore. The people are most friendly and most did speak English but we had our translator apps on or phones-just in case. Poland is a beautiful country. It has recovered from the devistation in the past. It’s history is overwhelming, but they are a resilient people and have recovered their country amazingly. I would highly recommend this tour company and Mr. Brzostek as your guide and visiting Poland.

The trip to Poland was amazing. Witek ensured we arrived at all our accommodations, restaurants, boats, castles, churches, and many other travel destinations as mentioned on the itinerary. He shared with us a lot of local knowledge and history of Poland. I believe we saw and did the best of Poland that would not have been offered by any another travel company. So much fun!! Would highly recommend this tour!

Our Excitingpoland "Pearls of Poland" tour from May 19-31, 2024 enriched our lives. My husband and I traveled with 5 fellow Americans and a friendly, accommodating bi-lingual driver/guide named Witek. We were transported in a comfortable 9 passenger Mercedes bus for approximately 2 weeks. We would not have learned, seen, and done nearly as much on our own. Warsaw, Torun, Poznan, Krakow, Gdansk, and Zakopane were some of the cities we visited. Malbork, Wawel, Jasna Gora, the Baltic Sea, and the Tatra mountains along with many cathedrals and churches took our breath away. We also saw remnants of war such as Hitler's Wolf's Lair, the Schindler Factory, and Auschwitz-Birkenou. When we were leaving the glorious mountain views of Zakopane and headed towards Auschwitz, Witek appropriately referred to the contrast as "visiting Heaven and then visiting Hell", but those sobering sites were worthwhile and left equally profound impressions on us. This was a very well organized tour (thank you, Grzegorz!) The guides in the cities and at the sites were knowledgeable and informative. The hotels were nicer than expected and the FOOD! The breakfast buffets and well chosen restaurants did not disappoint! Poland is an amazing and beautiful country with resilient people, incredible history, and fascinating art and architecture. We have visited various places in Europe and elsewhere, and when compared to destinations with similar amenities, Poland is a travel bargain.

The trip to Poland was an 'Out of This World' experience. Poland is a land of sacred soil. Many holy people have walked and lived on the soil. From the planning stage through the actual visit, everything was executed with professionalism and met my every hope. Our driver, Zitex, was the absolute 'best'. He aimed to please at every turn. HIs driving was competent and his English was good. We understood everything he told us. His disposition was kind, friendly, helpful, and sensitive to individual needs. He took us to excellent restaurants and explained the menu choices. My trip was everything I had hoped for and more. I would highly recommend Exciting Poland to others! Monica K. USA

This was our first trip to Poland. Since my grandparents all came from Poland, I had a particular interest in a tour that covered several areas of the country, its history, food and culture. We had a great trip, better than expected. Witek, our driver/guide, was great. At each city/historic stop, we had a local guide, all of whom were very knowledgeable. The hotels were in great locations within minutes of the "old town" so you could easily go out during free time or take a late night walk after dinner. The breakfasts and restaurants were also very good. I would recommend flying in at least a day early to Warsaw and add an extra day if you fly out of Krakow. I would recommend this trip to anyone, even without Polish heritage. My wife is 100% Italian, and she had a great time. A small group is a great way to do a tour like this. I miss the pierogi and kielbasa already! And, the good local beers are less expensive than a coke!

A friend and I had a wonderful time on the Pearls of Poland Tour Aug 20th - Sept 2nd 2022 and would highly recommend this tour to others. And just a quick side note: my friend and I did not get Covid during the two weeks in Poland and at no time in our trip did we feel unsafe. We came home feeling elated that we had seen so many different aspects of Poland: history, culture, religion, architecture, beautiful cities, rivers, castles, monuments, museums, churches and landmarks from mountains to the sea, and of course the delicious cuisine. We also came away with a deeper understanding of the hardships in Poland both in WW2 and also during the years of communism that gave way to the birth of solidarity. The tour was just my friend and I and our guide and driver Witek who is from Warsaw. We especially appreciated Witek who went above and beyond to make our tour memorable. Witek was very knowledgeable, very kind and considerate, had a great sense of humor and was very organized and experienced. We also had local guides in many of the towns/cities who were arranged by Witek and who provided in-depth and fascinating information about the local sites. We also had time to explore places on our own. Also Witek kindly made some detours for us to see extra things we requested: such as the Ronald Reagan park and the Post Office in Gdansk, where Germans attacked on Sept 1, 1939. My friend and I could not have asked for a better tour or a better guide. Poland is an amazing place.

This was a fantastic trip. We learned so much about Poland. The guides were knowledgeable and Witek our driver and guide was extremely accommodating and helpful. Great sense of humor. Grzegorz always responded within a day to all my planning questions. The cathedrals and castles were amazing. Loved the atmosphere of the old Town squares. The rafting on the Danujec River was so much fun and beautiful scenery. The salt mine and underground cellars were truly amazing. The visit to Hitler's Wolf's Lair and Auswitch Birkenau were very sobering. Food was delicious! You can't go wrong with this trip, but be prepared to do lots of walking.
