This tour includes two safaris and six World Heritage Sites and a lot more. But for a true Sri Lanka experience you should not miss to come into contact with locals and get an impression of their genuine culture(s). Our ambition as a local tour operator is not only to show you the most impressive touristic highlights but also country and people and some places of interest which remained untouched by mass tourism, plus a taste of local cuisine.

This round tour does not include accommodation, this way allowing you to book the hotels or guesthouses of your own choice. This does not apply to the first three nights in Mihintale, when the accommodation is fixed. The reason is that you will come into contact with locals in my hometown and will have an opportunity to learn more about Sri Lankan cuisine in my own kitchen.

  • History, cuisine, culture and nature, a tour that allows you to taste the authenticity of Sri Lanka.

Through references from friends we met this agency. At first we had to do only three days with them, but the services offered were of the highest level, so we decided to extend the experience with Nuwan. It was a 360-degree guide, it allowed us to integrate the trip with many new experiences and places, none trivial and obvious.

Friends We had recommended the Nuwan agency with excellent references. We booked 3 days and then we wanted to do the rest of the visits independently. Nuwan from the beginning was very kind and very knowledgeable in describing the places and monuments. For this reason we decided to ask him to accompany us throughout the holiday. Great choice because it was an added value to our trip and made us discover many more interesting places and stories. Thank you!!! Recommended!!

I went to Sri Lanka in Feb 2022 with a small group of travel bloggers. Nuwan, the owner of Lanka Excursions, was our guide for this remarkable two week excursion. We have all traveled the world with lots of tour operator experience, Nuwan and his team are the best in the business! He truly cares about his guests well-being and over all experience. Nuwan is very passionate about his country and enjoys sharing it with others. His mini-van is clean, comfortable and well maintained. His knowledge and communication skills are outstanding (he speaks very good English, as well as Italian). If you're looking to visit Sri Lanka, I encourage you to reach out to Lanka Excursions for custom or per-planned vacation packages. Drop me a line if you have any questions.
