Choose a short, easy to explore adventure or a rural, off-the-beaten-track tribal trek! You will be accompanied by your own expert English-speaking native private tour guide.
We try to avoid other tourist routes (unless you advise otherwise). Our guides speak excellent English, are local and have so much knowledge about Sapa, the surroundings, history, culture, and the different tribes.

Either way you will experience this incredible place & amazing people. Huddle round an open fire, spend time chatting and getting to know your host family.
By booking, you are giving back to the local people, giving them opportunities to earn fair wages, which in a region where 70% of the population is below the poverty line, is desperately needed.

Great guide Miss Giang! Taught us lots on the culture of the black Hmung tribe, Zai tribe and the local plants whilst being off the beaten trails! The weather was uncooperative but was made up with the experience.

Our hike was just amazing - Giang has so much knowledge of the area and the history which made the journey so interesting as we learnt about the culture and the people with such a depth. Our overnight home stay was incredible . We joined a local village family for the night and had an amazing traditional dinner with them , everything was so fresh, as we shared stories and laughed around a warm fire with a glass or two of a special "happy water" rice wine . Waking up to all the roosters crowing and the animals with an amazing view over the mountains across the terraced landscape with rice paddies. We are so grateful to have met Giang and have experienced Sapatribaltrekking and would recommend this adventure to anyone

The 2D/1N trek with Giang was one of the highlights of our trip. The trek was definitely challenging but Giang was encouraging and patient. We really enjoyed hearing about the local cultures and lifestyle and seeing the amazing scenery. Definitely would recommend.

Incredible! We did a market tour to Coc Ly and a two day trek with Giang. Her knowledge, storytelling, and personality made the time with her truly memorable. The market tour was authentic as it gets as i t is not usually visited by many tourists. The trek was a challenge but only because we were there for cold, cloudy , rainy weather. Giang's explanations gave us insight into the lives of the tribal people of the region. A trek with Giang will remain in your memory bank for a long time.

Thank you Giang… & my homestay family for the evening…. for one of the most incredible experiences of my life. I’m a keen traveller & rarely return to the same place twice - but I will return here as soon as possible. My guide Giang was so lovely, kind, sweet, knowledgeable & interesting. The perfect guide. Even though we had heavy heavy rain on the first day it was still fun! The homestay was the best night sleep I’ve had in a month travelling Vietnam. They gave me a hot shower, delicious dinner and comfortable, warm bed for the night which was so appreciated- the cute puppy was a bonus too! Followed by the best banana pancakes & coffee the following morning. Thank you all and hope to see you again soon 🙏❤️

The most amazing 2 days with my guide Toan! I learnt so much about life in Vietnam and not to mention the incredible scenery! Toan went out of his way to ensure I got the most out of my trek, and I certainly did. I would recommend this tour to everyone and anyone travelling to Vietnam!

Xa was our tour guide and she was amazing!!! She was very patient and taught us so much about the rice fields, culture, villages… she gave us options throughout the trek for easy, medium, and hard which was great depending on how tired we were. She also took care to help us when parts were slippery to ensure we always felt safe. Would definitely book again! Thank you Xa!

Sapa Tribal Trekking is the way to go! Giang was very helpful and responsive while we were planning. We had La La as our guide and she was absolutely amazing - great English, very knowledgeable, and super friendly. The trail was a little muddy in August, but worth it for the incredible views of the golden rice fields. Bring grippy shoes though!

Giang is the best guide you can get. She speaks very good English, shares a lot of interesting information, takes you on a beautiful trip… in the late afternoon you arrive at the homestay of a very gentle family. The rooms are very clean with a beautiful view. Day 2 more beautiful scenery and trekking. We had a wonderfull experience and would definitely recommand this trekking with Giang! Best guide ever!

My family (mum and grandma) and I did the 2D1N trek and consider it the highlight of our Vietnam trip. The scenery was beautiful and the guidance on cultural significance/history by our guide Giang really elevated the whole experience. We picked the “moderate” level hike and found it the perfect level of difficulty to feel a good workout, however some parts were quite difficult due to rain making the ground slippery - however my (very fit) 79 year old grandma managed both days really well so it’s certainly accessible to anyone with good mobility and balance. I would like to add a big big thank you to Giang for sharing with us many personal stories and brining a positive vibe throughout.
