Just a short walk from the Glacier Lagoon, you’ll find Diamond Beach, named for the countless sparkling fragments of colorful icebergs scattered across its black sand shore. These ice pieces are continuously shaped into stunning formations by the wind and waves of the Atlantic Ocean.
Vatnajokull National Park
Last but definitely not least, your tour’s highlight is the unforgettable Blue Ice Cave expedition. You’ll start with a superjeep ride to these natural ice caves, formed deep within glaciers as fresh water freezes in Iceland’s plunging winter temperatures. Your expert local guides will lead you to the most breathtaking ice caves, giving you a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience—these caves may never look the same again. After exploring the caves, you’ll head back to Jökulsárlón before returning to Reykjavík, with a refreshing stop in Vík along the way.

It was much better than expected.i would definitely recommend nice travel this particular tour to my friends.we couldn’t do ice cave due to heavy winds but it was not something under anyone’s control. We were promised a refund. Our Tour guide was Monica and she was the best. She knows so much history about Iceland and Nordic tales and is very passionate about what she does. She was super helpful, tech savvy and very friendly with the kids. She made the tour even better. It was out of this world to see Iceland in its peak winter. We will definitely come Back for it again in summer😊

Obviously Iceland itself is so scenic but if you have a great lively funny knowledgeable guide together then tour becomes one of a kind, luckily we had that experience with Mr. Bartosz. Thank you again Mr. Bartosz🙏

A two-day trip to the south coast was definitely the best part of the trip to Iceland. The scenery on the south coast was very good and, luckily, the weather was good on both days, so make sure to compliment our guide Mika (I hope I spelled it right). Mika is extremely professional and knowledgeable. He gave us a deeper understanding of what we saw and heard by sharing wonderful stories about Iceland's geology and history. In addition, he was very dedicated. You can feel that he really loves this job. He tries to keep track of time to give us the best view, and even keeps tabs on weather and auroral forecasts to arrange the perfect stop.

Had the most incredible 2 days with Nicetravel! Honestly, the whole trip felt so easy and smooth. Our guide was absolute legend—super funny, but you could tell he was really responsible too. Most importantly, he’s a very steady driver, which made me feel totally safe on the icy roads. He also kept us right on schedule without ever making us feel rushed. The hotel on the first night was a pleasant surprise. Clean, cozy, and that breakfast? Wow. So many choices and genuinely delicious, gave us the perfect energy boost for the day. The Blue Ice Cave was definitely the highlight. It was so easy getting there in the jeep, saved us a lot of hiking. Just a really relaxed, beautiful experience. 10/10 would do it again!

We did the 2 day tour south coast and were absolutely impressed, especially the glacier and Diamond Beach . Our guide Domenica was very personable and motivated and took great care of the group during the trip. Pleasant duration of stays with enough time at each attraction. Very well organized and planned. Really recommendable.
