Gljufrabui Waterfalls
Gljufrabui is a hidden waterfall that many visitors overlook. We’ll guide you to this secret spot so you won’t miss its stunning beauty!
Volcano Eyjafjallajokull
Don’t miss the chance to learn about Eyjafjallajökull’s massive 2010 eruption. It’s the event that brought Iceland worldwide attention!
Skogafoss
Skógafoss is one of the world’s most iconic waterfalls, famously featured in “Game of Thrones.” Its south-facing location creates frequent rainbows from the mist of the 60-meter (197 feet) cascade. You can also climb to the top for stunning panoramic views, making it a must-see Icelandic landmark.
Solheimajokull Glacier
Sólheimajökull Glacier is an outlet of Mýrdalsjökull, one of Iceland’s largest glaciers. Experience the raw, stunning landscape and get up close to the glacier’s impressive ice cap.
Dyrholaey
From Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, you can spot the stunning stone sea arches of Dyrhólaey in the distance. This iconic natural formation adds to the breathtaking coastal scenery of the area.
Reynisfjara Beach
Next, you’ll visit the world-famous Reynisfjara black sand beach, where striking basalt columns line the cliffs, powerful Atlantic waves crash against the volcanic shore, and the dramatic sea stacks of Reynisdrangar rise just offshore.

Vik
On the second day, you’ll stop briefly in Vík Village. Take in stunning views of the black sand beach and the hills surrounding this small town.
Eldhraun Lava Field
The Eldhraun Lava Field is a vast, barren landscape covered in thick, vibrant moss that blankets ancient lava formations. This otherworldly terrain offers a striking contrast between the rugged volcanic rock and the soft greenery, creating a unique and beautiful scene.
Hofskirkja Church
Hofskirkja is the last turf church built in Iceland, dating back to the 19th century. Its thick turf roof blends seamlessly with the surrounding moss-covered burial mounds, creating a charming and historic setting.
Glacier Lagoon
Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon is a breathtaking, bucket-list destination featured in numerous Hollywood films. The tranquil, ever-changing scenery captivates visitors as wind and tides gently move the icebergs. You may also spot seals swimming among the ice or resting on nearby beaches.
Fellsfjara
Just a short walk from the Glacier Lagoon, you’ll find Diamond Beach, named for the countless sparkling fragments of colorful icebergs scattered across its black sand shore. These ice pieces are continuously shaped into stunning formations by the wind and waves of the Atlantic Ocean.
Vatnajokull National Park
Last but definitely not least, your tour’s highlight is the unforgettable Blue Ice Cave expedition. You’ll start with a superjeep ride to these natural ice caves, formed deep within glaciers as fresh water freezes in Iceland’s plunging winter temperatures. Every year, new caves emerge as glaciers melt, refreeze, and reshape, creating stunning formations in vibrant shades of blue. Your expert local guides will lead you to the most breathtaking ice caves, giving you a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience—these caves may never look the same again. After exploring the caves, you’ll head back to Jökulsárlón before returning to Reykjavík, with a refreshing stop in Vík along the way.

I just completed the 2-day South Coast tour with Nice Travel and it was one of the highlights of my trip to Iceland. The itinerary was well thought out and we had plenty of time at each stop — Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss, Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, Diamond Beach, and Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon were all unforgettable. The tour was smooth, safe, and well-paced, with comfortable accommodation and a good breakfast. Our guide shared great information about history, geology, and local stories while keeping the group safe on winter roads and windy spots — without ever making us feel rushed. As a solo traveller, I appreciated how friendly and inclusive the group atmosphere felt. Overall: fantastic value, stunning views, and excellent guiding. I’d recommend this tour to anyone visiting Iceland.

Pick up was efficient. The bus was very comfortable with charging ports at every isle and WiFi on the bus! There was enough room between isles which was great. Vlad our guide was very approachable and informative over the two days. He also kept everyone timely and gave great instructions to keep us safe. I appreciated that he got us to the ice caves early enough so there wasn’t a huge line to go see it. The tour provided crampons which was very useful and the restaurant stops were great choices.
