A cracking vantage point above Loch Tulla, showcasing a little of everything the Highlands have to offer: lochs, forests and mountains.
The Three Sisters
This mountain viewpoint in the Glencoe Valley holds the title of the most photographed place in Scotland. In addition to being a place of incredible beauty, it bears historical significance as the site of the MacDonald Massacre during the Jacobite Uprisings.
Castle Stalker
Sitting on its own little Island on Loch Laich, an inlet off Loch Linnhe, the beautiful Castle Stalker was featured in Monty Python and the Holy Grail movie.
Oban
We have an hours' stop in Oban before boarding the ferry to Mull, which we can use to grab a light lunch before crossing over to the island.
Tobermory
Tobermory is a charming coastal town, and is our final destination of the day where we will drop you at your accommodation of choice.
Duart Castle
Duart Castle, sitting on the coast of the Isle of Mull, is the ancestral home to Clan Maclean and dates back to the 13th Century.
Fionnphort
Ferry terminal for the passenger ferry to Iona, cafe and restrooms on site. En route to the ferry, we can often expect to see cows, sheep and even deer on the road!
Iona Abbey and Nunnery
The Abbey at Iona is known as the ‘The Cradle of Christianity’ in Scotland. Established by St. Columba in 563, it is older than the nation of Scotland, and became an important religious centre throughout the Middle Ages.
Craignure
While waiting for our ferry back to Oban, you can either visit the local cafe, chocolatier, or enjoy a dram at The Craignure Inn, an 18th Century Drovers Inn which has retained much of its original character. The Craignure Inn features in the book ‘Kidnapped’ by RL Stevenson, although it is referred to as the 'Inn of Torosay'.
Oban
Arriving in Oban, we will have a quick stop to take photos at the Oban 'Colosseum', spanning stunning views of the bay below and several nearby islands.

EG2 provided good information and communication throughout the booking and planning process. Joao was our guide, and we were more than pleased with him: serious, flexible, prompt, able to provide extensive historial background and happy to discuss issues related to the country and the sites we visited. Price was very reasonable, and the service was excellent.
