Dan took us out on our second day of touring to experience the Cotswolds region. After having spent the day before with us, he definitely leaned into some of our interests and made sure he shared information and created experiences for us. He came prepared for us to feed the ducks within a Cotswolds village, brought a book along about the 60+ breeds of sheep in the UK, and pulled over several time so I could see cows and sheep and grab their photos. He also pointed out some WWII moments along the way that really piqued my husband’s interest. Dan incorporated locations in the Cotswolds where famous films had been shot. He even showed us film clips on his iPad so we could see the place in which we stood in the films. It was great fun. When I mentioned that I wanted to take biscuits (cookies) home from the various countries we would visit for our grandchildren to try, Dan made sure and took me to a row of shops and a grocery so I could grab some. Dan knows his history, pop culture, and willingly shared his passion for travel. Dan also listens looks for ways to make the tour yours. Impressive!

When you plan for a trip, you are always taking a chance on the experience you may end up. With that being said, I want to extend a big “THANK YOU” to Daniel for a wonderful family trip. The trip was everything that was advertised. I want to go into the “finer” details of what made this trip special. Daniel responded timely to my numerous repetitive inquiries over the span of a year of planning. Right before the trip, I tore my Achilles, so the trip had to be tailored slightly to include my wheelchair and handicap. Daniel took it upon himself to make the necessary adjustments (organize his car to fit 3 large pieces of luggage and a wheelchair, and arranged for a bigger and more accessible room at the wonderful boutique guest house). He relates facts as interesting stories that my two children, age 19 and 17, were totally engaged throughout the whole 2-day trip. You KNOW your kids had a wonderful time when upon arriving at home, my son immediately hopped on his 3D printer and printed out a miniature Stonehenge. My recommendation to future travelers, let Daniel guide you through the trip, take his recommendations, timing, accommodation, restaurants, etc. You will not regret it!

Our tour with Daniel was beyond great. As a lifelong Bathonian, he was able to show us the main attractions as well as lesser-known areas of the city. He also shared several wonderful stories throughout the day. Additionally, his exceptional knowledge of Stonehenge and Avebury, and the surrounding area made for a truly engaging couple of days.

What an incredible experience from start to finish. Daniel picked us up at our hotel and took us to Stonehenge, booked a great lunch and then on to Bath. He's an amazing guide, very very knowledgeable, very personable and just made the whole experience wonderful. His local knowledge of the city of Bath made for an incredible tour. My only regrets is that we didn't have TWO nights in Bath.

What a fantastic day! Daniel has to be the best tour guide in the South West. His approach to history wrapped up in narratives both mythic and relatable makes for a truly memorable and engaging experience. His two UNESCO Heritage sites in one day guided tour is the perfect way to spend the day when visiting this beautiful part of the country. After collecting us from our accommodation, Daniel drove us to a breathtaking vista of Bath. We then explored this beautiful city taking in the main sites, including Bath Abbey, Roman Baths, Royal Crescent, The Circus and many more. Having an exceptionally knowledgeable and local guide deepened our appreciation for Bath. Then onward to our second UNESCO heritage site - Stonehenge! What a magical place! Before even seeing the stone circle, Daniel brings the history of the site to life. His enthusiasm for the mystery and history surrounding Stonehenge adds a dimension to seeing the stones that one does not appreciate without such a guide. If you are planning to see Bath, Stonehenge, or indeed any location of geological or historical importance in the South West - contact Daniel you will not be disappointed.
