The valley floor -this area is called the sacred valley of the Incas located at 2,970 m with impressive lands for farming, high mountains, Incan sites, modern small villages and Vilcanota river.
Parque Arqueologico Pisac
Before arriving in Pisac town we will see hanging farming terraces on the hills where on top was constructed the Incan Pisac town, you will have time to visit the typical market to admire artisans, painters and artists, take pictures or buy souvenirs from locals.
Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo
Ollantaytambo town surrounded by mountains, here we will have another tour and discover the magnificence of the Incan constructions, huge stones beautifully carved, impressive landscape and locals in their traditional clothes.

Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu
Early breakfast at 05:00 am at the Hotel. Then we are ready to board the first bus to Machu Picchu at approximately 05.30am and arrive at the entrance at 06.00am when the gates of this Sanctuary is open (please have your passport on hand). Guided tour of Machu Picchu Citadel before the crowds arrive and the site is full of people, it takes approximately 2 - 2.5 hours. and leads you through all the most important areas, miradors, temples, residences, best spots and all archaeological sites with the insights of very capable guides.

Amazing Guided Tour to the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu

5.00Fabulous tour of the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. Elvis, our tour guide, was with us the entire trip. He made us feel very safe and welcome. We had a very comfortable large van to travel in for the four of us. He picked us up at our hotel in Cusco and we visited 3 archeological sites in the Sacred Valley and had an amazing buffet lunch with many Peruvian dishes. After lunch we made our way to the last historical site and the train station. Be sure to book the Vistadome class train seats. An upgraded experience! We then arrived in Agua Calientes to spend the night. Elvis walked us to the hotel, Susana Hotel. It is a quaint and very clean hotel right on the river. The hot breakfast the next morning was very good. Elvis then led us to the bus station to catch our train up the mountain to Machu Picchu. It is a 30 minute steep ride up the side of the mountain. At Machu Picchu we did circuit 2. You can see more of the site on this tour. Lots of climbing up and down rock steps and it is very steep in some parts. My husband uses a cane and made the entire circuit with the help of our guide, Elvis. If not for Elvis, there is no way he could have done it. Elvis was very patient and assisted him through the large steps that have no hand rails. After our tour, we had lunch in town before boarding the train. Our driver picked us up at the train station and Elvis delivered us back to our hotel. It was an amazing experience and one we will never forget. Elvis was the icing on the cake. He is an amazing tour guide!!

5.00Elvis and Juan Carlos were the best. Our private tour was so informative and at our pace. Elvis provided so much information at all sites "according to hypothesis, including archeologist and theories". I highly recommend this pair of amigos.

5.00On the first day, he picked me up at my hotel, which was a complimentary service. He also provided a lot of detailed information about what to expect during the tour. On the second day, he picked me up on time for the Sacred Valley tour, which we joined with another group for an eco tour. The Sacred Valley was beautiful! We were even able to catch the train to Aguas Calientes. After we arrive, there's someone picked me up to the hotel. The hotel was beautiful and close to the river. The best part? Since it was just me and Juan on day two, it became a private tour, which allowed me to enjoy my time even more. The macchu picchu was magnificent!! He went above and beyond to offer a butterfly tour, which is a nice touch. After arriving in Cusco, a driver dropped me off at my hotel. Finally, Juan provided a private wildlife tour that was customized to my interests. It was amazing! He's incredibly understanding and flexible. To top it all off, he even offered a complimentary drop-off at the airport, which is something no other tour company did. Juan truly went above and beyond. I highly recommend booking a tour with him – you won't regret it!

5.00Tour was very organized. Juan was knowledgeable and spoke English well. Our airport transfers were included making it easier for us. Machu Pichu was amazing and we had more than enough time to spend there. The train ride is long ( 4 hours 10 minutes on way back). We had free time in town at Machu Pichu and our hotel was clean and conveniently located with easy walk to restaurants and train station. Our day visiting Sacred Valley was good; our only complaint was we were rushed at each site and didn’t have as much time as the description stated. We barely had time to walk to the top of each site , take a few pics, and return to leave. The lunch buffet was good and provided a nice array of Peruvian foods to try. I would definitely recommend this tour with VTM ! Excellent service. Thank you!!

5.00So good!! Juan Carlos made our experience unforgettable. From start to finish great communication from the tour provider - we were met at our hotel the day before with an orientation & our tickets. The first part of the tour (Sacred Valley) was part of a different group- however Juan Carlos met us at our hotel and took us to the transfers. He then met us inside Ollantaytambo to give us a longer tour than the other group. Very smooth and seamless. Incredible service I was truly pleasantly surprised - Machu Picchu was incredible and it was just my group and Juan Carlos who gave us an unforgettable experience. 5*!!!

5.00The experience was excellent, way beyond my expectations. The manager Carlos and the guide Elvis gave us explanations of what we would be seeing and doing. During the tour Elvis was so informative and knowledgeable about the sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. He helped us to truly appreciate and respect the history and the culture. We would highly recommend this tour company for any of your adventures in Peru. It was simply spectacular!

5.00Machu Picchu in Cusco was the first stop of our South American tour. We felt very lucky and satisfied to join this two-day tour to Machu Picchu. Our tour guides Juan Carlos and Elvis Sanga are very professional, sincere and reliable locals. They provided us with very detailed arrangements and services throughout the trip, and everything made us feel comfortable and appropriate. They will always wait for you in advance at the hotel or train station or bus station exit. Elvis explained a lot of history, interesting stories and some knowledge of local flora and fauna to us in simple English, even though English is not our mother tongue. This is definitely a good value for money trip, we highly recommend this trip. Mucho gracias Juan y Elvis.

5.00This was by far the best tour in Peru. Communication and service was excellent. Juan Carlos came to our hotel to drop off our tickets and explain the two day trip. First tour, Sacred Valley, Carlos our tour guide was great and brimming with information. Lunch was included and let me tell you, it was fabulous. We ate at a place called Tanupa in Ollamtaytambo. The service was great, food was buffet style, lot of variety and local entertainment. Next was Machu Picchu, was picked up Peru rail is great, I chose the Vistadome train, it has assigned seating which was very convenient and they had entertainment going to Machuu and a fashion show coming back. Fashion show was actually good. The clothes they modeled I would buy one of each. My hotel in Machu Picchu was clean and comfortable. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Nice place to explore. Our guide Roberto, knowledgeable and so sweet. Took train to bus then Juan Carlos picked us up from bus station.. took us back to our hotel. He is an absolute gem. Only thing I don’t like is everyone sells the same things :( Overall it was a great experience from start to finish.
