We just completed an unforgettable tour of the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu with my wife, and a couple of great friends, and our guide Lenin was simply exceptional. From the first moment, Lenin proved to be a passionate and knowledgeable guide, making each step a lesson full of history and culture. The journey was demanding but extremely rewarding. The natural beauty of the path, combined with Lenin's rich narrative, made every kilometer traveled exciting and inspiring. Their attention to detail, constant support, and ability to keep us motivated were key for us all to enjoy the adventure. In addition to being an excellent guide, Lenin taught us a lot about Inca culture, local flora and fauna, and the historical importance of each site we visited. Their passion and dedication were reflected in each explanation, making us feel connected to the past and the beauty of the place. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for adventure, learning, and a deep connection to the history of the Incas. We could not have asked for a better guide than Lenin to accompany us on this unique journey. Thank you, Lenin, for an experience we will never forget! -

My partner and I were booked on the two day inca trail experience and were fortunate to be the only two people in our group. We were also incredibly lucky to have Lenin as our guide. This guy is incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, caring and he really made our trip. From the moment he greeted us in our hotel the night before he made everything very clear and throughout our trek he did everything he could to make it a special 2 days for us. A special mention to the time when my partner experienced some altitude sickness and Lenin was there to talk her through everything, very calming, very patient and really helped her get back on her feet. On our second day Lenin showed us around the city for a second time and it was a pleasure to have someone as genuinely passionate as him to explain this wonderful site to us. In terms of Andestop as a company they were usually very quick to answer questions or queries we might have had. There was an issue with the train home having been booked for the wrong day and once I called them this was rectified within 20 minutes. They were also quick to offer a solution on a refund I needed when our flight time home changed unexpectedly. As a whole I would thoroughly recommended the day trek, the train was a surprisingly wonderful addition and we got to head through thr sun gate in the afternoon rather than the morning, giving spectacular sunset views. You won't regret going with Andestop, especially if you ask for Lenin!

We had an incredible time doing the two day trip. The hike on the first day had the most amazing views and then in the second day it was great to spend timing exploring machu piccu. Our tour guide (Lenin) was brilliant and kept us in great spirits the whole time.

But what superb days on this 2-day trek thanks to our fantastic guide Lenin TTUPA...! Pick-up from our hotel in Cuzco, transport to the train departure, then stop in the middle of the “outback” in front of a bridge that crosses the river....the trek begins there! Just crazy!!! Our guide is excellent throughout the entire path (12km), he adapts perfectly to the pace of my family, he explained everything to us about what we discovered while walking. He knew how to make the trek pleasant, regularly offering us the opportunity to take photos and videos in the ideal places. The visit to the machupicchu site was exceptional!!! The choice of hotel and restaurant in Aqua Calientes was perfect. In short, it was really great!!! For your information, we were 2 parents (53 and 50 years old) and 2 children (19 and 11 years old). We highly recommend this wonderful experience. Ask Lenin as your guide, you won't regret it. Thank you very much to the whole team and especially to Lenin for his help during these memorable days.

If you are unsure you can complete the full 7 day(4 days, 3 nights) of the "Classic Inca Trail Trek, but still want a piece of the historic trail, this is the trek for you. Lots of tours companies to book with, but I booked though Kandoo Adventures. Kandoo Adventures took care of everything from permits for both the Inca trail from KM104 to the Sun Gate, transportation from Cusco to train station that will drop you and the others at KM104, bus ride into town and hotel stay, dinner, breakfast, bus ride back up to Machu Picchu where you will spend the 2nd day before taking the bus back down to town to catch your train back to the town you boarded where a driver from Kandoo will drop you at you hotel in Cusco. The entire trek took 6 of us trekkers 7 hours, but can be done in much less time. Our guide Elio was very knowledgeable and patient as we had 2 slower hiker with us. Once you reach the Sun Gate, you can see Machu Picchu from there. You'll hike down the final portion of the trail before you get to the spot where most will take their iconic picture of Machu Picchu. We then caught the bus into town so we can get checked into out hotel and get showered for dinner and discuss the 2nd day. day 2 is where you will have the tie to walk and take pictures of Machu Picchu. Afterwards, 3 of us went off to hike up Huayna Picchu(Wayna Picchu) which you will need to add beforehand due to permits. This is another challenge and has very steep steps to make it up to the top. All well worth it just to get the view high above Machu Picchu. I highly recommend this for those on w tight schedule, but still want to experience the Inca trail, spend time in Machu Picchu and add the Huayna Picchu(Wayna Picchu) as a bonus.

My wife and I had the best experience ever with Francisco. The guy was very knowledgeable about both the trail and the Inca history. We could not have asked for a better guide on our trip. Definitely the best experience in our vacation!!

This was definitely the best part of our 16 days in Peru. We booked the 2 day Inca Trail excursion through Peru Andes top but the actual tour was conducted by Bamba Excusions. Although the description wasn't quite accurate (many information were missing, such as the fact that the actual pick up would be around 4am, that you cannot take any suitcase with you, that your drop off is not at your hotel but in one of the Cusco'squares and that the lenght of the trail is about 6 hours, not 3) the experience was amazing. Francisco was our guide and he was awesome! It was just me my husband and him and it was the perfect hike with him. He was very knowledgeable about the environment, flora and fauna and history of the area and provided fascinating information. The hike was challenging in some points but doable and even if he could have probably run, he understood our pace and we got to Machu Picchu fairly soon. We enjoyed the hike with Francisco and learn a lot, many useful information that we also used in future tours. Seeing Machu Picchu is breathtaking! The Pachamama blessed us with two wonderful sunny days. Could not ask for more. Compliments to Francisco!
