Such a great tour and saw things we wouldn't have seen by walking around. The bikes were in great shape, and Paschal was a great tour guide! Definitely learned a lot while burning some calories. Highly recommend!

Biking was an excellent way to see UkereweIsland. Our guide, Paschal, was brilliant- knowledgeable and friendly and prepared to give us lots of time and space to look and to question. The trip lasted nearly 4 hours taking in Nansio, the town of the island, and some of the rural villages. I completely recommend it.

After 60 years, I returned to my hometown on Ukerewe Island to revisit the house where I grew up. My guide, Paschal, was outstanding—he patiently helped me trace my roots, walking me through the town to my childhood home, my friend’s house, the bustling market, my old school, and even the town’s only cinema. Paschal’s deep knowledge of the island and genuine interest in my stories made the experience magical. It was an excellent, personalized tour. I highly recommend him to anyone exploring Ukerewe—book Paschal for an authentic adventure! #UkereweIsland #TanzaniaTravel #NostalgicJourney

We really enjoyed our tour on Ukerewe Island with Shangaa Africa. Paschal was friendly, experienced, and very knowledgeable about the island. The traditional healer visit was a very special experience. We learned about traditional healing practices and local herbs used by the islanders. It was very educational and respectful of local traditions. This tour gave us a deeper understanding of life on Ukerewe Island, and we would definitely recommend it to other travelers.

I booked two day tours with Pasco! On the first one, we explored nature and everyday life of the local people on Ukerewe Island. On the second tour, we went to Bwiro Island — a fascinating island where life mainly revolves around fishing. Both trips were wonderful. I especially loved the contact with the local families and that we discovered the Most beautiful places I would never have visited without Pasco! Pasco speaks perfect English, which makes it easy to learn more about the island and its people and to really dive into the local culture and way of life. I would book Pasco again anytime. Thank you for such a great experience!

Fantastic Island and great company with Yohana as a guide, he was very knowledgeable about the island and although I was only there for a short time I saw and learnt a lot. Highlight was helping some fishermen bring in their net to then buy the fish off them directly and have it for dinner! Worh a visit to any tourist near mwanza, and if you’re up for the challenge of biking around it’s a great way to see island.

My bike tour with Paschal was a great way to explore Ukerewe Island. He is very good at his job and very attentive. I chose the early morning tour, which was a good decision because the weather was still cool. I will always remember this tour.
