Kangaroo island as a whole is completely overrated….and not worth the money. There’s nothing unique about anything on the island and if you truly want to see beautiful parts of South Australia try Barossa or mclaren vale instead. These alternate locations are more accessible and offer local small businesses with the same vibe and comparable (if not better) products. You’ll also be more likely to see an actual kangaroo thriving in the wild vs roadkill. Save your money and explore the mainland.

To pay 80$ per person for a round trip and 400$ for a car is just a rip off. Completely unjustifiable. KI would be a good place to go. The ferry fares kills it.

It was a great tour, but as mentioned in other reviews, it is a packed day of activities for both days.. We had 2 different guides (a different one each day) on the island. Both did an excellent job. I would suggest perhaps offering it as 2 night stay on the island. That way things might not be as rushed - trying to get everything covered and making the last ferry.

Ferry a little expensive but very friendly and accommodating personal regarding the reservation. The island is interesting with beautiful sites, abundant wildlife. A destination worth a visit

We did the second day tour first and were only 5 people. There is a lot of travelling and2 of the stops were at places where products are made and sold. Quite interesting but the trip is costly to go to places where there are sales opportunities. The guide was good and knowledgeable. The overnight stay was OK although pub food not great. Day 2 we were on a 50 seater coach. Another long day of travel but very interesting stops . There is a lot of time spent on the coach . Overall we enjoyed our trip . Richard and Will were both very helpful .

Kangaroo island is 100% worth visiting but the 2 days tour doesn't make a lot of sense. As guest you spend basically the first day with all other single day tour guests rushing from major site to next and on the second day you don't do any major sites and instead visit local farms. That is such a shame as Sealink could really offer something great by tailoring their tours and differentiating between one day and two day guests. As they aren't doing it, I would recommend just doing the day tour

Professional. Schedule respected. Small catering on board. What more can I say for a short ferry ride?

I did a two day tour of Kangaroo Island and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who is interested in the wildlife of Australia. KI is a delight, calm, peaceful and so much to see. Our tour guide, Joanne, was interesting and knowledgeable throughout. You can do a one day trip but it’s an incredibly long day if you’re coming from and going back to Adelaide so have one night on the island and really enjoy it.
