Adventure Travel Agency organizing camel safari since 1987 and our safaris takes you into remote and isolated areas of the Thar desert during which you will experience visiting villages, native wildlife, some of the most beautiful sunset and sunrise as well as sleeping under the star filled sky in our very clean custom made bedrolls. During your tour you are welcome to learn local cooking skills from our camel guides as all the meals are freshly prepared over the campfire.

The group size can maximum be of 6 to 8 people or any size if you travel with your own group
In event of the bad weather condition we could be cancel the tour; in this case we can offer a refund or another departure date
Please note that there are no man made facilities available on the tour such as tents or washrooms; for toilet you have to go behind the bushes.

What To Expect
Day-1 Your departure is early in the morning at 6:30 am by jeep to the campsite 50 km from city. Breakfast is served at the camp 8:30 am - 12:00 noon - The exciting camel safari starts visiting a beautiful small villages. 12:00 noon - 3:00 pm - Lunch followed by rest in the shade of trees 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm – The camel trek starts again while riding through isolated sand dunes After the day’s desert experiences you arrive at our campsite for stunning sunset & later enjoy delicious dinner, freshly prepared over the camp fire; and when you are sleeping beneath the star studded sky on your clean bed roll you will have the dreams of the desert DAY 2 After sunrise & breakfast, the tour continues with the adventurous visits to villages and sand dunes 8:00 am - 2:00 noon – You will experience the desert environment and get a glimpse of the desert vegetation and the exotic creatures on the sand - along with a village on the way if you wish to visit. 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm – Lunch & rest in the shade of trees 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm – You can enjoy camel riding & galloping along the way while reaching the campsite before returning to Jaisalmer by an hour jeep drive 06:00 pm - Tour ends

5.00This was an truly amazing and beautiful experience. Nothing like the slow and calm camel rides and waking up in the middle of the night to the most beautiful starsky. Dina and Punar were calm and funny guides. The food was very good. Thank you for this experience⭐️

5.00We has a fabulous experience on our 1 night trek! Vikram and his Dad (who's been running the biz for 40 years!) were both lovely and very helpful. Salim was a great driver and helped us communicate throughout the trip. The other staff were all friendly. Tasty food, fun camel experience, and so much fun camping under the stars on the dune. Highly recommended! We wished afterwards we had booked a longer trip...

5.00The camel safari was one of the highlights of our trip to India. Incredible experience. After a short jeep ride from Jaisalmer to the desert, you meet your new camel friends and are guided safely by Taka, the camel driver, into the sand dunes. It was very safe and fun, with Taka offering to take photos whenever we wanted. Once arrived, the excellent Salim and Taka made our dinner from scratch over a fire, washed down with some delicious homemade chai masala. Once the sun sets, the beds are rolled out and you spend the evening looking into the Milky Way, admiring the stars. Highly recommend!!

5.00We had the best camel safari with adventure travel agency tours. Vikram and Indar were so kind and helpful in the office, they have run the family business for 40 years and it shows. Salim and Taka who took us on the tour were amazing guides and made us delicious food. The experience was so peaceful and the stars, sunset/sunrise unforgettable. Highly recommend this tour company for the best experience we had in India.

5.00Many thanks for this amazing experience! Your expertise, kindness and professionalism have really made a difference. After a short drive and an hour of camel ride (a first for me, and I loved it!), we arrived at the camp. We were welcomed with a delicious cellar, and while Saleem and Taga were preparing dinner, we were able to enjoy this beautiful setting. After dinner, our beds were made and we spent an extraordinary night under the stars. The next morning we had a delicious breakfast before riding a camel back to a small village in the desert. We had a wonderful time meeting the locals and discovering their way of life. I really enjoyed organizing the safari, and thank you again for this unforgettable experience.

5.00We went on a 2day/1night camel safari. Saleem and Taka were very helpful, pleasant and professional. The food they prepared was plentiful and delicious. The cots to sleep on were very clean and comfortable. The whole experience was amazing and worth the money. Don't chance it with any of the other many, many camel safari businesses in town who are trying to copy these guys. They have been in business for almost 40 years and it shows!

5.00The safari was breathtaking. We were in a small group of four and didn't see anyone else for two days. Our guide taga ram and his son have cooked delicious for us the whole trip. We were able to help and see how traditional cooking was done. We were able to drive ourselves with our camel for two days. Sleeping under the stars was a wonderful experience. The beds and sheets were very clean. The owner Vikram was very welcoming. At no extra cost he picked us up from the station and led us to the hotel. In short, a very reliable and good agency.

5.00The tour was beautiful! I had a lot of anticipation and it was soo worth it! Enjoyed every second 🥰 The family of the company is very friendly and accommodating, we were allowed to drop off our luggage at their place and shower at their place after the safari and were even driven to the train station! You speak good English and he told us about himself and living in India. Also the camelboy named Tagaram and his son were super nice and accommodating! He cooked very well and we were allowed to make Chapatti. It was a beautiful experience and I would recommend it to anyone!
