Day 1 – Arrival in Bujumbura & City Discovery

Upon arrival at Melchior Ndadaye International Airport, guests will be warmly welcomed by our experienced guide. The adventure begins immediately with a guided city tour of Bujumbura, offering a first glimpse into the vibrant culture and daily life of Burundi’s capital. After the tour, guests will be transferred to their hotel for check-in and relaxation.

Day 2

Day 3 – Rusizi River Boat Cruise & Departure

On the final day, guests enjoy a relaxing boat cruise on the Rusizi River in the Rusizi National Park. During the cruise, it is possible to observe hippos, crocodiles and many species of birds in their natural habitat, as well as the famous junction of the river Rusizi and Lake Tanganyika. After the excursion, guests will be transferred to the airport for departure, taking home unforgettable memories of Burundi’s culture, landscapes and warm hospitality. NOTE: Activities are flexible and will be adjusted based on arrival and departure flight times, but also guests preferences, to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
