Haedong Yonggungsa
As one of the only ocean side Buddhist temples in all of South Korea, Haedong Yonggungsa is also one of the country’s most unique places of worship. With more than 600 years of history, the temple is known for its unusual location and mystical occurrence
It is a tourist complex under the new name of East Busan Tourist Complex, and is being developed by Busan City with the aim for a high-quality multi-purpose marine leisure city with four seasons, befitting the global city of Busan with beautiful coastal scenery. Currently, the facilities include National Busan Science Museum, Lotte Premium Outlet East Busan, Haeundae Beach Golf Club, and Ananti Penthouse. A Hilton Hotel, Aqua World and IKEA will be constructed.

5.00While Busan’s beach is famous, if you’d rather try something different, the spot I recommend might be worth a shot at visiting. Firstly, Jeonpo is filled with charming cafés and pubs, perfect for taking photos or relaxing. Secondly, near the Jeonpo, there is the Bujeon Traditional Market, which offers a wide variety of delicious foods and goods at very reasonable prices. Lastly, around Centum City Station, there’s plenty to see and do. You can shop at SHINSEGAE Department Store, the largest department store in the world, or go to various expos at BEXCO. I hope these suggestions help you discover a different side of Busan!
