It is located northeast of Angkor Thom and just west of the Jayatataka baray, with which it was associated. It was the centre of a substantial organization, with almost 100,000 officials and servants.
Phnom Bakheng
Phnom Bakheng is a Hindu temple in the form of a temple mountain in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. Dedicated to Shiva, it was built at the end of the 9th century, during the reign of King Yasovarman.

We did the tour with Sam, and it was a great experience! He took his time to tell historical facts about each temple and explain how they were built. He answered every question with enthusiasm and you can tell he really enjoys doing the tour. I would definitely recommend doing the tour with him.

This tour was amazing. Everything is well organized and you see everything you need to see in Angkor Wat. You learn a lot, and this is because you have tour guides as Sam. He was outstanding and he took the time to explain everything about the temples and religion. You get to understand what you are seeing and the differences between the temples. Don't miss this tour!
