Harar
Harar must be the best city in Ethiopia for photography. It is extremely photogenic, and the mix of culture, people, and colour makes for excellent subject matter. The colourful alleys, the old Peugeot cars, the markets exploding with produce and products and especially the activities around the city gates will keep photographers busy for days

We are from italy and visited ethiopia for our son’visit, combining it with a 4-day trip to Lalibela and Harar Though tightly planned, the trip was smooth and thoroughly enjoyable thanks to Lokesh and his team. The price was very competitive, and the experience felt luxurious. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, we never felt tired even with the hectic schedule. Our guide, Chacha was knowledgeable and engaging. He also suggested some great restaurants and a delicious koba cake, which we really enjoyed! Special thanks to our wonderful driver, melaku, for his calm, safe driving and ensuring we reached the airport on time, even though we left late from ethiopia We also made a few unplanned stops. Mickey and team were very flexible and handled everything with no extra charges!!! Highly recommended. We’ll definitely use their

We had a wonderful experience with Danakil Depression Tours on our 2-day trip covering Dire Dawa and Harar The entire journey was smooth, well-organized, and very accommodating. Day 1 was a sightseeing tour around harar, and Day 2 was dedicated to dire dawa, including a visit to the iconicCave The agency ensured that all our requests were met with flexibility, which made the experience even more enjoyable. chacha our driver for both days, was punctual, polite, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the journey. Each day we had a different guide—both were knowledgeable and enthusiastic, helping us understand the historical and cultural significance of the places we visited. Highly recommend Danakil Depression Tours if you're looking for a reliable and flexible travel agency in Ethiopia Would definitely book with them again!

Danakil Depression Tours which helped us get to Harar from Dire Dawa, hosted us at Rewda GH and also provided the guide. Very satisfied with all the services. Alex is a truly professional tour operator and a truly special person, he introduced us to the history of the fantastic city of Harar, together we visited the entire ancient city inside with its gates and in the evening an adventure that I recommend to everyone is that of hyenas, where he took us to feed them, we had an unforgettable experience. If you are planning to visit Harar Alex Is the best!

Mickey does a private tour to harar (everyone visiting Ethiopia has to do. I did it with my 3 year old niece and my 78 year old parents. As long as you can walk you can do it. And he does a coffee tour with coffee ceremony as well. Very interesting. Jeol is extremly flexible and versatile. Give me an idea / just a hint what you want to do (e.g. see artists in their work environments) and he will come up with ideas / tailor-made tours. His English is very good, he has a very good knowledge of Ethiopian history, he is not expensive, he is always in time (actually always there before time), reliable, trustworthy ... His service covers the whole of Ethiopia, he is also offering tours outside harar
