Amazing tour of Cajamarca!!

5.00This was a fantastic trip and Ander was a fabulous tour guide. He went above and beyond his job. On the first day, he picked us up from the bus station (since we had taken a night bus), then took us to the Inca baths. He had great recommendations for meals throughout the day. We were able to see the ventanillas de Otuzco, stone forest, and city center. Ander was extremely knowledgeable about all the history of Cajamarca and I learned a lot from his tour. On day 2 he took us on a tour of the lagunas in Cajamarca. We were able to go off the beaten path and do a wonderful meditation at the top of the mountain. I cannot recommend this tour enough. We had some issues with booking our bus back to our original destination and Ander was incredibly helpful in talking to the people at the station and even going with us to help get our tickets sorted out. Truly a wonderful person and great tour guide! 100% would book again.

5.00I am not typically one to write reviews but Ander and his team have been the absolute best. A group of friends and I did a 2 day private tour with Time to Travel. We had a list of things we wanted to do in our brief weekend in Cajamarca that Ander was so gracious to accommodate. He is extremely communicative and went above and beyond to help our group, even in times when it was not expected or required of him (rebook bus tickets, calling restaurants on our behalf, stopping to buy snacks). For example, he met us directly at our bus station at 6AM just to walk us across the street to the tour van! As for the tour itself, Ander and our driver Jaime were a wonderful team. We went to the Banos del Inca, Cumbemayo, Otuzco, the city tour, and Lagunas de Alto. You can tell that Ander loves to teach--our group took an English tour and loved learning about Cajamarca thanks to his genuine enthusiasm for the places we visited. It was clear from the amount of people who stopped to say hi to him that he is well-loved in town. Possibly my favorite thing is that Ander is a scholar, art historian, mountain explorer, environmentalist, and yogi all in one! I seriously cannot recommend booking with Ander and Time to Travel. He is such a pleasure to work with and learn from and I regret that we had such little time to spend with him. Thank you for everything, Ander and Jaime!

5.00Ander was an amazing tour guide for our two days in Cajamarca. We wanted to squeeze in as much as possible and he obliged, picking us up early from the bus station for an early morning trip to the Inca Baths before a full day of sightseeing in and around the city. The next day we went on a hike around some lagoons about 1.5 hrs from the city. Ander couldn’t do enough for us, troubleshooting travel plans, giving us restaurant recommendations, taking lots of picture of us. I highly recommend him for your trip to Cajamarca

5.00Cajamarca is a beautiful city. The guide Ander Gonzáles of Time and Travel, and all the very friendly guides. But Mr. Gonzales handled a lot of knowledge about the Local History and Culture, with high customer service to absolve doubts. I'm going back to Cajamarca anyway.
