Arusha
Arusha is a city in East Africa's Tanzania, located at the base of volcanic Mt. Meru. It's a gateway to safari destinations and to Africa's highest peak, 5,895m Mt. Kilimanjaro, lying some 100 kilometers northeast and to the west lies Serengeti National Park, home to wildlife including lions, rhinoceros, giraffes and leopards. As a tourist hub, here you will commence your journey to the parks as per your itinerary.
Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park is a national park in Tanzania's Manyara Region. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses the park. It covers an area of approximately 2,850 square kilometers (1,100 square miles.) The landscape is composed of granitic ridges, river valley, and swamps. Vegetation is a mix of Acacia woodland, Combretum woodland, seasonally flooded grassland, and baobab trees. The park is famous for its high density of elephants and baobab trees. Visitors to the park in the June to November dry season can expect to see large herds of thousands of zebra, wildebeest and cape buffalo. Other common resident animals include waterbuck, giraffe, dik dik, impala, eland, Grant's gazelle, vervet monkey, banded mongoose, and olive baboon. Predators in Tarangire include lion, leopard, cheetah, caracal, honey badger, and African wild dog.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a protected area and a World Heritage Site located 180 km (110 mi) west of Arusha in the Crater Highlands area of Tanzania. The area is named after Ngorongoro Crater, a large volcanic caldera within the area. The conservation area is administered by the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority, an arm of the Tanzanian government, and its boundaries follow the boundary of the Ngorongoro Division of the Arusha Region.
The main feature of the Ngorongoro Conservation Authority is the Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. The crater, which formed when a large volcano exploded and collapsed on itself two to three million years ago, is 610 metres (2,000 feet) deep and its floor covers 260 square kilometres (100 square miles). Estimates of the height of the original volcano range from 4,500 to 5,800 metres (14,800 to 19,000 feet) high. The crater floor is 1,800 metres (5,900 feet) above sea level. The crater was voted by Seven Natural Wonders as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa in Arusha, Tanzania in February 2013. The Ngorongoro volcano was active from about 2.45 to 2 million years ago.

Was a quick tour to the Ngorongoro via Tarangire and it was absolutely superb. From the setup, the food, the jeep to the tents they set for us. Our first time in the park and we were a bit nervous but Sam promised, and really delivered. The guide took us through lots and lots of animals and birds, some we didn’t even know about and the Crater was just too beautiful. Hopefully see you guys soon for a even longer tour after the pandemic clears out.

My friends and I were looking for a perfect weekend gateway and Allday in Africa really surprised us. Sam proposed to us a 2 day trip over the weekend and we really enjoyed it. We were picked up from our hotel in Arusha by Frank, our guide who was very funny and quite knowledgeable, and went to lake Manyara were we saw lots and lots of birds then we went to sleep in a town called Karatu at Hhando lodge, a very beautiful lodge and their service was superb. The following day we went to the Ngorongoro crater with picnic lunch prepared which was according to our preference and we really appreciated how they listened and gave us what we wanted. Though we got back to Arusha very late and tired, but we really enjoyed seeing all the big 5 and learn a lot about Tanzania. Unfortunately we didn’t have so much time to visit Serengeti park but next time we will surely go to it as well.
