Depart Amman and travel south to Petra. Founded by the Nabateans, Petra is considered one of the wonders of the world. Located 139 miles (225 kilometers) from Amman, Petra was carved in stone more than 2,000 years ago. It dominated the trade routes of ancient Arabia. Upon arrival, walk the narrow path of the Siq to discover the main entrance to the city. At the end of the Siq, see the Treasury (al-Khazneh), which was believed to hold countless treasures.
Wadi Rum Protected Area
Drive to Wadi Rum in the afternoon, drive to Wadi Rum by 4WD jeep For two hours. Wadi Rum ("Valley of the Moon") is where the legendary film "Lawrence of Arabia" was filmed. Marvel at the unique shape of the mountain as it rises from the rose-red sand of the desert. See towering cliffs of brownish, reddish, and golden colors. . Spend the night in a Bedouin camp and enjoy bedouin dinner and some nighttime activities.

5.00We had an amazing experience exploring Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea. Our guide Alaa truly made the difference: friendly, knowledgeable and always attentive. He offered us a delicious traditional local lunch and we shared lots of laughs along the way, which made the whole tour feel even more special. He provided great tips and clear explanations, and stopped several times so we could admire the scenery and take beautiful photos. He even proposed an extra stop that wasn’t included in the original itinerary, showing how much he cared about giving us the best possible experience. Thanks to him, this tour became unforgettable. We’ll definitely remember him as part of our journey to Petra!

5.00We had a wonderful experience with Marwan as a guide who did everything to make sure we had the best trip for my birthday. On the first day we were pickup on time from our hotel in Amman, we drove to Petra and were taken to Wadi Rum later in the afternoon, we went on a jeep tour in the desert and saw the sunset. Marwan was kind and fun, he gave us all the information we needed and offered additional activity options. On the second day we went on a camel ride to see the sunrise (additional cost: 15 JD /pers for 40 min) and drove to the dead sea. We were then taken back to our hotel in Amman. We got to see the wonders that Jordan has to offer, try authentic Jordanian food and learned so much about the culture. We are very grateful to Marwan for his excellent tour and patience. Strongly recommend!
