Join Newfoundland’s award-winning boat tour as we depart from the heart of downtown St. John’s, the oldest seaport in North America. Witness the world’s largest concentration of humpback whales, watching as they thrust their massive 40 ton bodies into the air, and wave their iconic tails for amazing photo opportunities. Steam through the passageway of 12,000 year old icebergs as they travel from the glaciers of Greenland. Surround yourself with the different seabirds that frequent our shores including the black-legged kittiwakes, northern gannets, bald eagles and the elegant yet playful Atlantic Puffins. Visit the most easterly point in North America, Cape Spear. Breathtaking views of where the Atlantic Ocean meets the land, with Cape Spear Lighthouse and Battery above you. Both entertaining and educational, our narrated tour is fun for the whole family.

Amazing trip, the crew were so knowledgeable and attentive, the boat was clean and safe. A brilliant way to see the coastline around St John’s and definitely worth the price!

A well run tour. Friendly and knowledgeable make sure that you see not only the obvious but also those little gems that we would not spot, like the motionless hawk up on the cliffs or the puffins on the water , so small and camouflaged. However, if you absolutely want to see puffins on the cliffs, then you may have better luck choosing another boat . To be clear, my friends and I loved our outing; the sights, the crew, the adventure.

I had an incredible time on the Iceberg Quest Ocean Tour out of St. John’s. The views alone were worth it, with rugged coastline, seabirds, and even a sunfish showing up along the way. Sadly, we weren’t lucky enough to see a whale, but what really stood out, though, was the crew. They were welcoming, knowledgeable, and kept the trip fun from start to finish. A special shoutout to Glen—his hospitality, humour, and charm made the whole experience feel personal and memorable. He’s the kind of guy who makes you want to come back and do it all over again.

It was a nice boat ride and the guide did a great job with all the information he gave us. But don't go expecting to see whales. There are times in the year they aren't around. Gre
