Join Newfoundland’s award-winning boat tour as we depart from the heart of downtown St. John’s, the oldest seaport in North America. Witness the world’s largest concentration of humpback whales, watching as they thrust their massive 40 ton bodies into the air, and wave their iconic tails for amazing photo opportunities. Steam through the passageway of 12,000 year old icebergs as they travel from the glaciers of Greenland. Surround yourself with the different seabirds that frequent our shores including the black-legged kittiwakes, northern gannets, bald eagles and the elegant yet playful Atlantic Puffins. Visit the most easterly point in North America, Cape Spear. Breathtaking views of where the Atlantic Ocean meets the land, with Cape Spear Lighthouse and Battery above you. Both entertaining and educational, our narrated tour is fun for the whole family.

This tour should have been cancelled due to weather conditions. Once outside of the port, the swells were strong enough that you could not stand outside in the rain and wind. We sat inside and saw nothing while many people were sick. We were actually thankful that we came back to port half an hour early. The support crew were helpful trying to keep us comfortable. 24 hour cancellation policy is too long if weather changes.

No whales. Perhaps one puffin, but couldn’t be certain. Very rough seas. Several people physically ill. Unpleasant. Perhaps unsafe. Perhaps boat should have stayed tied up at the wharf.

We had a great trip even though we didn’t see any whales. We did see some puffins! It was a pretty day and fairly smooth but a handful of people were getting sick. The guys in charge handled everyone so well. Impressed with them! There was also a guy playing live music during the trip which was really nice! Very enjoyable.

Weather was not great. Not the operators fault. Wife got sick and Crew was very responsive to her needs. Excellent Crew. Just not a good day.

We had an amazing experience seeing lots of whales. The sea was a bit rough but we felt safe with the captain and crew.

Didn’t see any whales, icebergs or birds. Apparently they were flying close to the water. Just not worth the money.

It was a windy day on the open ocean so the ride was very choppy. The crew were stellar in their hospitality , lore and knowledge. We got to see many whales, but alas because of the waves we weren't able to get close enough to the shore to see puffins and of course because it was too early in the season, there were no icebergs. Loved the boat ride. Would I do it again, in a heartbeat.

We thoroughly enjoyed this adventure! Knowledgeable and fun crew to lead this trip. We were very fortunate to have seen literally hundreds of whales around us. A truly incredible experience. Dress warmly though! The wind on the water is fierce!

Beautiful scenery, whale sightings, on-board bathrooms, licensed bar, live music and the friendliest, happiest captain and crew you’ll ever meet. Worth every penny.
