1.00We had the original time altered, didn't mind too much, the 52 seater bus was full, some couples boarding last unable to sit together, two & half hours of sheer boredom, no toilet stops, a couple desperate had to use a building site, an old man went around back of the bus, we saw houses, fruit on a tree, up a steep mountain just to see a view of nothingness, absolutely awful would NOT RECOMMEND!!!

5.00The tour was great, very informative, scenic & fun. Our group had amazing ppl & that makes a difference. Our Tour Guide Pete was very polite, knowledgeable about the area. It made the tour that much better. The only thing! At end of tour we asked if he could stop by souvenir stores b4 we boarded the Celebrity Edge cruise. Souvenir stop should be included in tour. Memorabilia!

3.00Hobbiton excursions were sold out when we got to port so I bought tickets for this k (no other options available). Not much to see here. The guide/ driver is friendly and knowledgeable of the area. As described, the tour is a drive through town and to the Lookout. No effort required but don't have high expectations. Also, no restroom stops planned unless you ask.

3.00We booked a tour , only to find out the the tour bus was a 55 Seat Coach not a Coaster Bus, although terms & conditions did say that the size of the coach could change There were 50 persons on the coach. The drivers knowledge was great, but getting on and off the coach was time consuming

5.00We arrived on a cruise ship without a booked excursion, but decided as exiting pier to book with this outfit - great decision! The tour was one of the best we’ve taken in our years of cruising - covered a lot of the region in two hours, with excellent, informative commentary by the driver (Allen, I believe, who took on this job after selling his company, and also drives special ed kids). He’s a native of the area, so knows it well, and provides lots of local insights.

3.00The trip gave a reasonable overview of Tauranga, though the sites were pretty underwhelming. The commentary was quite interesting, but at the back of the bus I couldn't hear it very well. Still, I thought the trip was good value.
