Then set off on your 1-mile (1.6-km) walking tour that introduces you to Gatlinburg's darker history and folklore. Visit some of the city's notorious and haunted places, walking the same paths as murderers, victims, con artists, and self-promoters. You'll see photographs taken by others on the tour of eerie sights, from orbs to full-blown ghostly apparitions. Learn how you too can get similar photographs. Great guide that has been ghost hunting for 20 years and can devote more time after retiring from firefighting. The walk wasn’t too long. But the time spent talking and exploring places was great. My daughter got some very interesting words on the ovilus she was carrying! We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this tour!

The pick up site was obscure enough that it caused our Uber driver to pause and make sure that we were in the right place. The starting point IS in an empty parking lot of a pancake restaurant and your operator will be waiting. Our guide explained his history and love for ghost hunting. Then, we went over some equipment that was handed to us and off we went! The guide appeared to have done his research and at each point explained the “haunt.” The final destination was a cemetery that is located in town. The best advice is to go with an open mind, enjoy yourself and wear comfortable shoes. At the end of the tour, the guide graciously accepted tips and made sure you were given the opportunity to have a sage cleanse to prevent any hitchhikers from accompanying you home.

Disappointed in this adventure. The guide was nice and did spend 2 hours with us, but the activity was simply not entertaining. The guide did share some local knowledge and described a few of interesting local deaths but the interesting stuff could have been condensed to about 15-20 minutes. Overall lots of standing around and discussing stuff that happened on previous tours. The guide was genuinely nice and friendly, but other than that I would not recommend.

Mark was amazing! Totally worth the money! Had such a great time learning about the area. We didn't see anything, but we have no regrets about booking this tour! Couldn't be more pleased with an attraction. 100% recommend

Had a great time with Mark as our guide last night. Be sure to engage Tate Marr when you visit the cemetery. I had a great interaction with him. Mark knows the history and streets of Gatlinburg very well. He will give you a good experience. Well worth it!
