5.00Our National Park Service Guide was excellent. He held our attention throughout the two hour tour of Gettysburg Battlefield. He gave factual information on maneuvers, what the various commanders were responsible for, and how the enlisted men fared. His incisive anecdotes about the generals and others in command positions were very helpful in explaining why different parts of the three day battle happened as they did. It was one of the best narratives ever on this horrific battle that left so many dead, injured and captured on both sides. A positive nod to our bus driver— she handled the bus very calmly and well.

5.00Usually bus trips are kind of blah, but this one blew me away. I could not get over the knowledge of the guide, and his passion for telling the story of the battle of Gettysburg. It was fantastic. I can’t say enough good things about this guide.

5.00Well worth the time and money. We came to Gettysburg and were overwhelmed with history and had no idea where to begin. This tour was so well put together, it really gave us a grasp on where to start. The guides all have their own methods of touring and each time you go, it will be a different experience. Just to note-you can schedule a private tour for a couple of hours or for the whole day! This was an amazing experience and I would recommend it for anyone going to Gettysburg-even if you’ve been there before.

We were able to get off the bus several times and to get the interesting facts that we would have not known about doing this on our own. We were looking for a specific monument of a family member who was one one the Col. We were able to go back after the information from the tour and we found it.
