It’s been a long time since I sat in an American History class…. This tour made my recollection of what I was taught many years ago come to life. It also updated details that didn’t seem important the first time around. I learned some new information and relearned with a new perspective some old. When you consider what ALL were fighting for and dying for on both sides it stands to reason we should reflect on The Civil War, the thousands of lives lost, and learn to remain humbled by this as we work together as a Nation in peace.

This tour was wonderful!! Christina, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable!! Christina's lively and engaging descriptions of The Battle of Gettysburg kept our interest during the twp (2) hour tour. Thanks to Christina I have a better knowledge of the who, what and where of the the Battle of Gettysburg!! She vividly described the topography of the three (3) day battle and how the hills and dales played into the battle plans. I am from Pennsylvania and did not realize how close the Union Army came to being defeating by the Confederate Army. The devastation suffered by the town of Gettysburg was heartbreaking. It took years for the town to recovery. The tens of thousands of lives that were lost in the three (3) day battle was overwhelming to hear - so many lives lost!! Families devastated. The Battle of Gettysburg truly shaped our American history. If you have the opportunity, please sign up for this tour and specifically ask for Christina to be your guide. You will not regret it!! A very enjoyable and enlightening two hours. Marie R.

This is a 2 hour bus tour of the Gettysburg battlefield narrated by a guide, ours was Christina, who was licensed and extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the battle. I personally did not remember many details of the battle from high school history class, but Christina’s passion, knowledge and side stories kept me very interested! I learned so much in this tour and was very glad I did this. There is not much walking on this tour and does include a bathroom break halfway through. I highly recommend taking this tour!

This was the third time we had visited Gettysburg in the past 30 years. This time we spent the $82 to have a tour guide drive with us for two hours. It was the best money we have spent in years. Pat you were great. Thank you!
