Come and join us for a 2-Hour Guided Segway Tour at one of the Grand Strand’s most beautiful wetland and wildlife preserves, Huntington Beach State Park in Myrtle Beach. Nature lovers will enjoy the park’s Environmental Education Center for the chance to see Loggerhead Turtles and other endangered wildlife species up close. The park’s freshwater lake along the causeway is a sure-fire place to see Alligators basking in the sun, a variety of bird species, and maybe even a mink or two.
Known for its natural beauty, Huntington Beach State Park was the former winter home of Anna Hyatt and Archer Huntington, sculptress and philanthropist, who left the park and adjacent Brookgreen Gardens as their legacy. Make sure to leave enough time in your day to also visit Atalaya, the picturesque, Moorish-style castle which was their residence and sculpting studios. This tour is around two hours in length with training. Still plenty of time to enjoy the beach and relax before or after your tour.

First time.on a segway. It was fun. Gave us time to get used to it then went thru the park. Gave us the history of Huntington estate. We saw gators in the water. A little info on local nature. Rode on the street, walkways and a short distance on a trail. Overall a fun trip and Bob the guide was great.

We had a great time - highly recommend Mend this tour. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and very safety conscious. He made sure we were all comfortable driving these for the first time. My husband has heart issues so he could have never walked to and seen as much as we did today. Awesome experience!!

So much fun! Older person with no prior segway experience here but the quick train and guidance from our guide Bob was excellent. Felt confident on the segway in a short time.

The guide for this tour was terrible; rude and insulting. He threw his hat on the ground and complained loudly to the group about some people arriving late. Four of our group did not arrive until 9:45 AM for the 10:00 AM tour. The problem was that they left at 6:00 AM and the message stating they needed to be there at 9:30 AM was not sent until 7:30 AM. If the start time of the instructions for the tour is 9:30, the information on the website needed to state that. A temper tantrum by a "professional" guide is NOT good for business. The tour was great; lots of wildlife, beautiful scenery.

I had such an incredible experience on this tour; it ended up being one of the highlights of my trip to Myrtle Beach! From the very beginning, everything was smooth and well-organized. The Segway training was quick and easy, even for beginners, and I felt completely comfortable before we set off. Riding through the park was absolutely beautiful, with peaceful scenery, wildlife sightings, and stunning coastal views that you just don’t get from a car. What truly made the tour exceptional, though, was our guide, Bob. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing interesting facts about the park’s history, ecosystem, and local wildlife in a way that kept everyone engaged. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does. On top of that, he was patient, friendly, and made sure we felt safe and confident throughout the ride. Bob also added a personal touch with his humor and storytelling, which made the tour feel relaxed and fun rather than rushed or scripted. He went above and beyond to point out hidden gems in the park and made sure we didn’t miss any great photo opportunities. If you’re visiting Myrtle Beach, I highly recommend this Segway tour, especially if Bob is your guide. It’s the perfect mix of adventure, learning, and unforgettable scenery. I would absolutely do it again!

We did this tour as a family with two older teens. Everyone had a great time! Bob was professional and informative, and we learned a lot about the area while zooming around on our Segways.
