What To Expect
We rent high quality river tubes for floating on the Roanoke River. Guests meet us at Wasena Park, a public take-out so you can float back to your vehicle. Once all participants for the shuttle time have arrived, we'll conduct a quick 5-minute safety briefing, ensuring everyone is well-prepared for the journey ahead. Then, we'll board our 14-passenger van and drive to the starting point upstream along the greenway. The tubing experience entails a leisurely ~2-hour float back to Wasena Park and your vehicle, allowing our guests to soak in the natural beauty and tranquility of the river surroundings. It's a seamless and convenient way to tube! Price includes tube, life jacket (required for youth 6-12 years old) and transportation to the put-in. This is an unguided outing. The minimum age we will shuttle is 6. All participants must know how to swim and manage themselves on a body of moving water. Footwear is required, flip flops not recommended. We do not offer tandem tubes or cooler tubes. We discourage participants from tying or binding together tubes.

5.00Great experience. Fun, refreshing, and relaxing. Just make sure you protect your car’s key fob because that including anything else you bring with you will get wet. I’ll be bringing a small waterproof bag next time.

5.00The guy that informed us was very nice. The tubes were in great shape. Took a small cooler with us. Plenty of time to eat a sandwich if you pack one etc. The water was fairly low so it was a lot of getting up to get over rocks. But there were fairly long stretches of deeper water so you can relax. We had a good time. I’d say be careful at the end, that last drop although not huge, it’s easy to flip over.

5.00Lovely relaxing float down the Ronoake river. Some small rapids nothing too strong..water level was good & the weather was perfect..water temp cool but perfect for cooling off. Sean, from Ronoake Mt adventures was good explaining everything before the float.
