What To Expect
Surf lessons with the only Hawaiian owned and operated Surfschool on South Maui. We grew up in Hawaiʻi. Greetings with Aloha learn how to surf with the descendants of the inventors of surfing. 2 hour lesson at Kalama Park nice calm waves perfect waves to learn on. We have taught thousands of people from around the world the sport of Hawaiian kings Surfing. In a 2 hour lesson we will set you up with shoes to protect your feet Lycra shirt to protect you from the sun and getting chafed by rubbing on the surf board. We will go over a land lesson showing you step by step the technique on how to paddle and how to stand up. We go over share some safety information surfing etiquette preparing you for the water then off in to the water we go. No doubt we'll have you surfing every one loves it. Calm and relaxing waves to make your Hawaiian surfing experience unforgettable. We have a photographer who takes Videos and pics capturing your Hawaiian surfing experience. Your life will change forever having an authentic Hawaiian surfing experience will definitely have you wanting more.

5.00My spouse and I booked this surf lesson, having never surfed before, and had a wonderful experience. Keoki taught us the basics and he got us out on the water quickly so we had plenty of time to surf. I got up on my first try and my spouse made it up within a handful of attempts. Keoki was courteous and gave helpful feedback. Two hours was plenty of time for me as I was tired by the end. The location was great- gentle waves, restrooms at the park, plenty of parking.

5.00This was an incredible experience for our kids, ages 12 and 10. Keoki was an absolutely amazing instructor--warm, welcoming, patient, kind and great with our kids! I asked him if he had been doing this a long time, and his response was, "We invented surfing, so yes..." He is a descendant of the inventors of surfing so it is a truly beautiful and unique experience compared to other companies. My kids were able to both get up on the board the first time due to his teachings. It was well worth every penny and we would do it again in a heartbeat! It has made memories for a lifetime. 5.00Keoki was such a great instructor - he was super attentive, encouraging, and really knew how to get you on the board quickly. His local knowledge and fun personality were a huge bonus. I got to ride many waves since the beginning, and felt very comfortable the whole time. He told me I was going to do great, and it happened! Mahalo!

5.00Keoki taught a great class that was truly accessible by people of all levels. All of us stood and caught waves and Keoki was a pleasure to be taught by and to hang out with. This is a great opportunity for a whole family to enjoy surf lessons, as the waves are super mild. It's mostly about learning how to balance and stand up. Highly recommend, always support Hawaiian owned businesses first! 🤙🏽🌈

5.00great instructions! blew my expectations out of the water ! i was nervous to try surfing but the care and honesty that we received today was amazing. my best friend and i surfed our hearts out with the greatest advice and knowledge. Learn how to surf from REAL surfers. doesn’t get better than that🤙❤️
