What To Expect

Now is your chance to see these amazing creatures up close, join us for our seasonal Whale Watching tours from December to April. Humpback whales visit Hawaii each year and give birth in our warm tropical waters. Let us embark on this once in a lifetime experience together. First and last name are required for each guest to comply with Coast Guard regulations. Failure to provide this information will cause delay at check-in. Additionally, to expedite check-in, please fill out waivers ahead of time, a link will be sent via SMS after booking.

My family had a blast despite the whales not showing up. The crew was amazing and we easily rebooked for free for another day and chance to see whales. My kids enjoyed just being on the boat and taking in the views. I definitely recommend Pink Sails.

I’m obsessed with whale watching, and I have never been disappointed with Pink Sails. I have now taken 7 whale watching tours with them including 3 sunset tours. These are some of the best 2-hour tours that I have taken. Captain Jamie, Alex, and Peter were great! They are all so knowledgeable and fun. On both trips this year, we were lucky to see 2 whales both times, and we even saw a mom with her calf. The whales just happened to unexpectedly surface fairly close to the boat. I highly recommend taking a tour with Pink Sails where you’re guaranteed to see a whale. If you don’t, you will get another opportunity to take another tour.

This was an amazing experience. Captain Jamie & his crew Alex & Peter were so friendly and helpful. Captain Jamie was very knowledgeable regarding the whales & orcas. It was so much fun. We saw whales as we were leaving the harbor. They were off the bow of the boat. Then Captain Jamie found us more whales. The trip was magical. Humpback whales are a beautiful & powerful creatures of the ocean. Beautiful songs. I could almost hear the blows. So lovely.

It’s a bumpy ride but you likely won’t get wet. Beautiful scenery and a few whales but you gotta be patient. Also really appreciated LD being on the boat.

The crew, Jaime, Tyler, and Ryan, were friendly and put guest experience and safety as a priority. Jaime was very knowledgable about the whales and their behavior and tried to make sure everyone was able to observe the whales, but stayed a proper distance away to protect the animals. I would do this excursion and others with them again.
