• Well Paced Walking Tour of Koper!

  With Stefan as our guide four of us spent a delightful 2+ hours walking through Koper, learning about its rich history and sampling local specialties as we went along. The mix of information and snack stops was perfect. Stefan’s excellent English, sense of humor, and knowledge of history made for a stimulating and thoroughly enjoyable way to appreciate this very special city. This was one of the best walking tours we have had - and it made us fall in love with Koper and with Slovenia.

  We were the only two people on our tour, so Mike, our guide, gave us personal attention. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Koper. We enjoyed the tastings but felt a little more time between experiences would be an enhancement to the tour.

  Mike was a great guide who shared lots of great information about the history of Slovenia and his own personal experience. When it said ‘taste’ I assumed wrongly it would be small samples but no, lots of wine, tamas, ice cream, chocolate and finished off with a delicious freshly cooked doughnut. If you want a walking tours with a difference I would throughly recommend this.

  Tour was cancelled, but we never received contact to inform us. The provider said they sent an email, but this wasn’t true. Two friends also booked the same trip and never received notification either. We waited 15 minutes at the meeting point before calling the provider, who was rude and unapologetic. Do NOT recommend. Two days later and we have still not received the refund we were promised.

  Guide never turned up. We were not told the tour had been canceled. We called the tour company and they claimed they had sent cancellation email. This was not true as we were two coupkes who booked independently and nether got email. Terrible experience.

  We had Natasha as our guide. She was excellent. A good mix of information and general discussion. A gentle walking pace and a friendly approach. The tastings were all very good. Of the five the chocolate was the weakest, but we still bought some to take home. I am happy to recommend this as a good value and enjoyable tour.

  We were visiting Koper with our big family and couldn’t effort an expensive excursion because of this reason but purchasing this tour turned out very well. We had a great time with our guide Lily , walking and tasting are lots of fun. Highly recommended for all of the ages.
