Every morning we go out on a 2 tank dive trips by car and we dive more or less all dive sites that are reached from shore. The lovely wreck of the Tugboat, abounded corals at Directors Bay, the almost alien environment of the Carpile or would you like to join on a full day trip towards the West side of the island?
You name it, we can take you there. Expect to see stunning coral reefs with a large variety of reef fish, turtles, lobsters, rays and other creatures. All the trips are with small groups with lots of personal attention so you will not be bored and will become more experienced and will have more confidence in the thing we love: diving on Curacao!

What To Expect
Jan Thiel Diving
Every morning it is possible to do a 2 tank dive trip with us. We can go with our van to every dive location that can be reached from the shore. The wreck 'The Tugboat', which is only 5 min drive or the beautiful and many corals at 'Directors Bay'. Also the beautiful and almost extraterrestrial environment of "Carpile" is definitely recommended! Or do you want to join us on a full day trip to the west side of the island? You name it, we'll take you there! Start with fantastic coral reefs with a wide variety of different species of fish, turtles, lobsters, rays and other animals. All our trips are with small groups so we can give a lot of personal attention so that you will not get bored and have fun experiences in the one we love the most: diving on Curacao

5.00Had a great day with Jan Thiel, our guide and driver was Cas who was friendly and knowledgeable. We started from the shop that was kind of centralized on the island, guessing that is for quick access anywhere the dive. Cas got us set up with our gear we rented and did a great briefing with where we were headed and what we should expect to see. My daughter had injured her knee previously on the trip, so he was great assisting with her gear from the truck to the water and back. First site was Tugboat and was a good as expected, second site was Directors Bay and Cas gave us a great history about the site on the way there which gave extra value to the artificial items we saw while diving. At the end of our day we were having a hard time getting our usual cab driver there and Cas offered to drop us at our resort, topped off the day! Highly recommend them even if you have a dive site on your resort.

5.00I was on Curacao from 25.05. to 04.06.2025. There I dived with the Jan Thiel Divers. For the most part we did beach dives and in one day 2 boat dives. Everything was great!! Be it from the dive guides Cas and Dennis or from the great underwater world. The service from the dive center is excellent. If I flew to Curacao again, I would always take this diving school.

5.00The booking process was very easy. Cas was exceptional in the way he handled the dives and provided the information of what we were going to do. Would go back diving with them any day. I also did the 2 tank boat dive with them and that was pretty awesome as well.

5.00My son and I made 2 dives under the guidance of a dive master as a guide at Jan Thiel Diving. Good value for money. Very nice and personal approach. Nice interesting dives where we have made the most of in terms of time and location. Prima equipment. Very nice and fun morning. We will definitely be back.

4.00Two nice dive sites, loads of coral and life. No special encounters though. Equipment was also fine. I bit more communication around and guiding during the dive would have made for the last star.

4.00We had Dennis pick us up at a very easy spot near the cruise ship pier. He was very friendly and drove us to two different but equally enjoyable spots accessible from shore. In total and including our guide, we had 4 divers so it was very easy to spread out and navigate to, from, and within the site. We would definitely book with them again, though we do prefer boat dives (it wasn't feasible based on our cruise ship schedule) as our gear was covered in sand by the end of the trip. The only suggestion, which I can understand may be difficult if there are more divers, is to help access the short terrain over rocks when walking to/from the shore. Dennis was very helpful in getting our gear on, but was fairly hands off otherwise. All in all, we would be happy to dive with him again as this wouldn't be a deal-breaker for us. Thanks for an enjoyable half-day!

5.00Had a great week with 5 days 2 tank shore diving and 1 day Boat diving. Only tanks and weights. Every dive a different dive site. The staff was really enthousiast to give you the best diving experience every dive. The dive Center is easy going en not over organised. Safety was always well looked at. Would recommend to anyone who would like to go relaxed diving with plenty to see and lot of variations.
