Auckland Harbour Bridge

Standing sentinel across the Waitemata Harbour, the Auckland Harbour Bridge is a crucial piece of infrastructure. Harbour bridge is the only bridge which connects the metropolis of the central business district to the North Shore and beyond to Northland.

North Head Historic Reserve

The location of Maungauika at the entrance to the Waitematā Harbour made it an important coastal defense. It was fears of a Russian invasion in the 1880s that led to the construction of a fort and the three disappearing gun batteries dotted along the maunga (mountain).

Shawn was very good and patient in asking him questions or watching out for our safety. The auto was clean and a small group was easy to ask questions. He provided automated commentary about each site before visiting which helped understanding what is seen.

Sean Kim was attentive to our small group of 4. The ride throughout was organized well, ample time at each location, and he brought us directly to the cruise port on time for embarkation. The van was comfortable and roomy with a large trunk for our 2 large suitcases, 2 carry-ons with wheels, and 2 backpacks. He was able to answer our questions

Great stops with astounding views of Auckland and surrounding area. It was advertised as a small group tour but ended up just my wife and myself. Our guide Noble was knowledgeable and friendly. The only concern was trying to see the sites from a passenger car was not as easily done as a typical tour designed vehicle like a van or bus.
