Our tour includes a special visit to the Museum of the American Revolution to view the tent that George Washington lived in for the majority of the war.

Your tour starts in the Signer’s Garden at the statue of The Signer. This statue celebrates and represents all of the signers of the Declaration of Independence and US Constitution and the spirit of freedom that they continue to embody into modern day!
Independence National Historical Park
See iconic historical landmarks such as Independence Hall, Congress Hall, and Old City Hall. Your guide will talk you through the history of them all and highlight the significance of their role in the development of modern-day Philly, the United States, and global democracy.

5.00I took the 2.5 hour history tour with Nina. She was a fantastic tour guide who really knew her stuff. She brought history alive against the backdrop of Philadelphia. She also interjected history with some fun facts, which kept the tour fresh and interesting. She was very engaging with all the tour goers.

5.00Our tour of Philadelphia was wonderful and gave us a meaningful look at the foundations of American history. We visited Independence Hall, Franklin Court, Benjamin Franklin's grave, the first and second Bank of the United States, the meeting place of the First Continental Congress and the Museum of the American Revolution. Each stop added depth to the story of how the nation began and helped us appreciate the vision and courage of the people who shaped it. Our guide Tom made the experience even better. He was excellent, very animated and truly knowledgeable about every place we visited. His enthusiasm helped bring each landmark to life and made the tour engaging from start to finish. We walked away with a stronger understanding of the city and a greater appreciation for the history behind it thanks to Tom.
